You have to admit though, if that were an 8 year old white kid shot in the face by a black man, conservatives would have made a HUGE stink about it.

And rightfully so, but for all of the wrong reasons...

 

Yoots all across America are on a crusade to avenge social injustices committed against Afro-American by whites. Key question? Can you blame them?

Whites have evolved from the lynchors to the lynchees.

 

I understand that some people like to live by the old "eye for an eye" concept. Of course, over time that will make all of us blind. If we do want some peace in this country eventually we are going to have to let go of the past.

But let me put those lynchings into perspective for you.

According to the Tuskegee Institute, from 1882 - 1968, eighty-six years, in the whole U.S. there were a total of 4,743 lynchings. One thousand two-hundred and ninety-seven of them were White people.

And according to the Detroit Free Press, in only nine years, from 2003 -2012 there were 3,699 homicides in Detroit alone. Most were Black on Black which makes this get-back attitude pretty self-defeating for Black people, I'd say. Puts a lot of Black people in prison, as well.

Nonetheless statistics like that and attitudes like that do raise questions about who's justifying the current violence.

While 65 percent of the US population was white in 2010, African Americans made up 13.6 percent of the total US population in 2010 and they committed 18% of hate crimes recorded by the FBI. 58 percent of the perpetrators of hate crimes were whites in 2010 and FBI statistics showed that both racial groups are equally capable of committing hate crimes. Looks can be deceiving and we are prone to assume that those people who had been historically oppressed cannot be racists. But I personally came across an Australian woman of mixed Aboriginal heritage who kept making racist remarks and I had to make sure that she would lose her job in the organisation that I was a part of at the time.

 

Who are all those young Black people who get killed in Chicago every year for? How do you answer to their Black mothers for that?

Because you are killing more of your own than you are of White people. What's with that?

The story didn't die, they caught the one's responsible and they will be tried accordingly. What else would you like them to say about it?

BTW - there were three perps in that crime, the trend seems to be to only mention two, wonder why that is?
