Your deflection was an appeal to hypocrisy fallacy against my side - the Right - which 1) had nothing to do with the YAF being denied official recognition at Santa Clara and 2) doesn't excuse the fascism of the "progressives" who were complicit in that denial.

FYI, the snowflakes in the Religious Right had nothing to do with this, either.

 

These subjects always bring out the absurdity of Republicans expecting to be treated respectfully when they advocate the likes of Trump. Anti-Republican attitudes on college campuses goes back before President Nixon [who was removed from the WH by Republicans]. Now we have a far worst Republican as president yet some Republicans expect to be viewed as OK people. It is mind-boggling and only re-enforces the opinion that Republicans are not the kind of Americans we want to be around. Santa Clara university is relatively conservative yet rightly recognizes that the type of people who support Trump are not the kind of people they want on their campus.

Plain and simple, anyone who promotes Trump should expect ridicule and negative reactions. To expect something else is a painful revelation of what kind of delusional people they are.

 

These are the real triggers. When you drill down far enough there's nothing remaining but terror of the above. And I say that without even a modicum of doubt.
