California has completely gone off the rails

Can someone explain to me what the heck is wrong with California? You can be punished for using the wrong gender pronouns. Police do not have to comply with federal law. And now, now you can knowingly donate infected blood to other people, because it's unfair for those to have it to be treated differently. This is absolutely absurd. Please, someone, anyone explain to me what is going on in California. It's becoming more and more of a madhouse over there.

I'm done. This beautiful state has been my home for over 20 years. They've finally succeeded in breaking it. I'm taking my six-figure income and tax stream to Oregon. I'm not alone. Soon California will have two distinct social classes: the ultra wealthy Hollywood and Silicon Valley crowd; and the newly-amnestied third world servants who cater to their every need. I will watch and laugh as this state sinks into the abyss.

 

I saw about the new law to punish caretakers who use the wrong pronouns on the news just now. Can't vouch for the other stuff, but nothing CA does surprises me anymore.

I lived in CA years ago and loved it. Now I wouldn't even visit there for any amount of money. Speaking of which, they've pretty much abolished their own tourist industry. A few years ago, there was a big LA publicity push, but seems like that is pretty much over. No one goes there anymore.

 

In a nutshell, it's a state where the extreme liberal contingent have become empowered by a never-ending flow of 3rd world poor Hispanics from South of the border, who depend on the liberal party to provide for them their shelter, food, education, health care, and virtually everything else. Liberals know this group is in their pocket, so they can feel free to push for whatever left-wing lunacy they want. Meanwhile, the middle class, which normally provided the right-wing counterbalance to the left, has been leaving the state in droves, leaving behind a 1 party liberal state.

Where do you think all of the "diversity" that empowers California's left-wing will go once California implodes? Oregon isn't going to be much better in the long run. In fact, I'm not sure it is, now. One of the more left-wing states.

 

My second home is in Central Oregon - for the last seven years. It suits me just fine. Outside of parts of Portland, Salem, and Eugene, there is a good political balance and a rational population who can agree to disagree without assaulting each other. I can walk into a gun store tomorrow and walk out with a baker's dozen in about 45 minutes as long as I pass the background. Car tabs? $86! Doesn't matter if you're in a '84 Chevy or a '18 Mercedes.

You're right, there is a risk that more Californians will invade (realizing I'm one of them), but there without a HUGE building boom, they will have nowhere to live.

 

So, what you wrote in the OP was an intentional falsehood. It will not be legal to knowingly expose someone to HIV, it will merely lose it's special status and instead be treated just like any other case of knowingly exposing someone to a serious disease.

I like white people and have no guilt at all. My mother and father are white and some of my best friends. I do not believe in guilt. But when it comes to a choice between a whiny white guy who spends his whole life behind a keyboard bitching about Mexicans and Black people and people who actually work for a living and produce results, it is no contest. I have lived here for 53 years and in my xperience, Mexicans are great people who really make this great state a better place to live. Many of my best friends and business associates are Mexicans, some who came here illegally and are now great productive citizens who have raised their children well and helped get them through college.
