    No it wasn't snark. I was addressing how his wording seemed to exclude lesbians from gays, in a context where gays was used inclusively.

    I had a coworker adopt, it wasn't cheap - they need to fix that

    course some on the right refuse to let lgbt couples adopt too

    I've had several friends adopt. It's not cheap, but none of these people were rich and they got it done. I've had family members carry surrogate children for other families.

    I would say generally no. There may be some that do, but I don't think that's normal for health insurance plans.
