I think if she's bigger then us, and screws around with different people (cheater) then it's ok to call her a slut

When is it okay to call a woman a slut? When in your opinion the woman is a slut. It's an opinion. This particular woman is obviously is having unprotected sex out of wed lock with somebody. By my own personal definition that doesn't make her a slut.

Women that slept around a lot? Were these women married? Were you an illegitimate child? Where there any men around to have a say? I've never heard a woman who was married to a man and raising a child called a slut.

Yep, it's a pretty outdated word these days among men. Women use it quite a bit, when they are being critical of each other.

I can't imagine a married mother raising her husband's children being called a slut.

Does it offend you that to some people, reckless sex and illegitimate children are considered immoral? To me, illegitimate children are the big one. A woman who has children outside of marriage is low class trash.

 

I said this to another American poster on the other thread, Ill repeat it here.

Last year I was in a European airport, there's old fella in front of me in the queue, I end up chatting to him. He's an old time American, must have been in his 80's. He was a pure gent, called me "Sir" which made me laugh a little on the inside as we don't use the term in Europe. Nevertheless, he was one of the most polite people I ever spoke with. Would he ever call a woman a slut? I very much doubt it.

He is a member of the generation of American's who were/are known as the most polite people on the planet.

I find it odd, that the American Right wants to return to the past on many issues, but not on the subject of manners.

Calling a woman a slut is rude, misogynistic, nasty and a whole bunch of other things.

Additionally it's generally hypocritical, since apparently men cannot be "sluts", when we do it, we're "proper lads" or whatever the parlence of our times is.
