If Carville's assessment is correct, and independents are breaking for Romney by 15%, then Obama will lose and lose big. I heard Greenburg on the radio say that conservatives are telling pollster to bugger off in larger and larger numbers because they see the pollsters as pro-Obama tools. There has always been a disparity of 2 to 4 points higher in elections for conservatives than in the polls. We'll see. I cannot think of any reason why Carville would make it look like Romney is going to win big, unless he actually believes it. Carville is a stand up guy.
