We all know how Israel will retaliate, and once again we will hear protestations about 'collateral damage' and 'hiding among civilians'. This latest eruption of violence will not end well for anyone; sixteen dead already including 4 children.

 

I find it absolutely astonishing after all these years, the certain Palestinians haven't figured out that firing rockets into Israel will result in disproportionate retaliation.

Maybe one day this simple fact will penetrate their false piety and spectacular stupidity and they will alter their tactics, since this "blood strategy" they have been employing for decades as yielded not much more than disproportionate oppression, brutality, misery and death for the palestinian people.

I am not the one who repeatedly claims that all the Israeli killing of children is due to the Palestinians putting their children in the line of fire.

Even if you could come up with one example (and you have yet to do so) this would not apply to all the Israeli killing.

Therefor I would be stupid to accept one silly example as applying to all the killing by Israeli's.

If Israel didn't face attacks from Gaza then they wouldn't bother with it whatsoever hence, it is only when there is a cycle of violence steming from attacks against Israeli civilians launched, planned or staged that they take action.

If you hadn't noticed, Gaza is not a military installation or a isolated area of the desert, it is one of the most densely populated areas on earth and, that population is one half children. With a government who boasts of using human shields as part and parcel of their terrorist methods one has no other defense other than to take out their leaders. Given the high take down ratio compared to the low civilian death one can see that despite the determination of Hamas to put their own people in harms way that they fail time and time again.

So, just by launching attacks or even planning and preparing for them within civilian territories they put their own people, and children in the line of fire as to Hamas, there is no boundaries separating civilian from military hence, everybody is in the line of fire.

Things were so out of hand that even Israeli pilots started to protest the illegal and immoral killing of civilians.

Try learning something before opening your blind partisan mouth for a change.

And where's the sadness and resolution for it to end?
I mean I realise that the forum posters here are not involved in negotiating the peace but there appears to only be anger and recrimination mixed in with justifying who's done what and when.

If people half way round the world from the violence feel like this, is there any hope for the people in the region who actually take & lose loved ones?

Unbelievably hard that on top of all the misery and violence experienced by both sides, they also have to negotiate the world's judgement. I'm not saying there should be no code of conduct, but judgement might be a secondary step to empathy for a conflict that neither side is really responsible for right? I mean wasn't the decision for resettlement made by the US & Europe. Did they and do they continue to do enough to ensure all parties are satisfied with their lots or was it another case of short sighted mission accomplished. And now who gets judged on daily basis? The people of the region.
