"MIGRANTS crossing the Channel by boat will be sent straight back to France rather than being allowed to seek asylum in Britain, the Home Secretary has warned"

Right, and if even one is sent back I'll eat my hat and that's a solemn promise. Does he seriously believe the French will allow British warships to dock in a French port day after day to offload a bunch of 'asylum seekers'? How bloody stupid does he think we are?

...just came up with a solution to this issue....instead of having this whacky company Seaborne Freight (whoever the fcuk they are) open up at the Ramsgate ferry terminal; who don't appear to have any ships, premises or experience in moving anything (other than moving cash from the exchequer to their bank accounts)....anyway.... it seems like a win and a place to have these eager Iranian nautical types step up to the plate and earn a crust. I mean these fellas seem to be doing a sterling job rowing from France to the UK in all sorts of sea conditions and in some pretty crusty boats...so....instead of wasting cash arresting them, feeding them and putting them on planes why not just plonk some freightable bits and bobs in their inflatables and have them row it back to France! We could save the money that we seem to be handing over to those Seaborne scamsters so why not buy these Iranian lads a descent set of oars for their wee dinghies so they can make ply back and forth between frogland and blighty!

Beyond belief isn't it? Of all the politicians on the Tory front bench whom I've wondered what qualities they have which has kept them sat sitting on it for so long, Grayling is the one who comes to mind first.

To each country its trash. French police already try to prevent illegal migrants to reach UK when we shouldn't really care because they don't want to stay in our country (apparently, they start slowly to understand they're not welcome here).

Must be a sad state of affairs now in France, if it's just become another in the long chain of states migrants are passing through to reach their final destination country.
I heard France is no longer able to house them all.
And the standard of living in France has not been moving in a good direction.

And that's when they start looking to buy an inflatable? lol The BBC reported that the average cost to be trafficked here is £3000 cash, so what I'd like to know is how come they have more cash in their back pockets than I do? Could it possibly be courtesy of the French taxpayers, given to them to help their on their way to a better life in Blighty? Actually I don't believe that 'French police already try to prevent illegal migrants to reach UK'.

Makes you wonder how they got into France in the first place and why they weren't stopped before they got there...
We can just send them back down the line... so over to you.... and you can do what you want with them provided they bugger off from here.

That cost a lot of money to send back migrants. We're lacking of it.

Hey, that's a point - not only do they have to fork out their 'fare' to the traffickers, but they have to buy inflatables for the journey too: the south coast of England must be littered with inflatables by now? :roflol:
