Rents are high because of terrible, restrictive zoning and building regulations put in place by liberal politicians who are voted into office by liberal voters. Wages are low because the state is flooded with illegal aliens who will work for low wages. The liberal politicians will not investigate and punish employers who employ illegal aliens, and pay them low wages, and they certainly won't deport any illegal aliens.

All that will accomplish is more illegal aliens working for for below-minimum-wage low wages, and legit employers laying off legit employees or reducing their hours, or just going out of business because labor costs are too high, and then the resulting vacuum will be filled with corporate businesses that run on a tighter margin, and automate humans out of the workforce.

But, the liberals will just keep doing the same doomed-to-failure crap over and over again, while expecting a different result each time.

And that's not the definition of anything in particular or anything.

We have borders & laws and benefits that tax payers pay into for years and they are easily exploited because Congress hasn't done **** to fix them. They've become outdated and due to exploitation, our culture and safety is being threatened. Of course, YOU don't care when some nameless person is murdered or robbed by an illegal or has their car slammed into by one without insurance or a licence. ...When their kids share a class with your kids, but they can't speak English, so it brings the whole class down. ...When they're not inoculated and bring diseases into this country that we normally don't have to worry about.
