    That doesn't matter.

    It's the 21st Century.
It's How "I" Feel About It That Counts = truthiness.

Well I have done more research. While it still appears there is no direct discriminatory behavior in employment or public accommodation, the monies funneled through Winshape to Family Research Council and Exodus International were not Truitt-Cathy's personal contributions, they came from corporate accounts. The corporate itself directly funded conversion therapy and other ant-gay efforts. The corporation engaged in political activity to oppose equal rights and dignity to the LBGTQ community by sending those checks so it could not rightfully complain when opposition uses its own tools to prevent that corporate money from flowing. Things are even murkier because there is some questions about a stated corporate 'redirection' away from charities that engage in politics. Checks still flow to Christian Athletic Fellowship, and the PFI family conference, but not to FRC Exodus International and its conversion therapy arm.

Abbott was AG of Texas during Rick Perry's stint as gov, and was Perry's successor. This is the same idjit that called a special session of the legislature - Texas lege only meets for 140-day term - to deal with a non-existent abortion crisis during a year they punted on school funding. He also ran on tort reform, after suing a homeowner and their insurance company and winning millions when a falling limb broke his back. In every way, a perfect example of 'Murican conservatism...

    What is "corporate redirection?"

So then no longer any problem as far as you're concerned?

I think the Company is owned by devout Christians who are anti-gay.....but that is not my main reason for avoiding the place, it just adds the Cherry. After all this "No Cake For You" garbage I just feel it to be personally important to give a little back.

If someone opposes same sex marriage, does this make them anti-gay?

How are you giving a little back?

Being opposed to equal marriage rights is not uniquely any-gay it might be something else....but, I doubt it. My little tiny payback is just as posted, I avoid the establishment vs, supporting it.

Then how can you call the owner anti-gay?

As seems your forte, you ask a question you have already asked and apparently cannot understand the answer provided....I will try again:
As many Christians interpret their Bible(s) to be anti-gay they are as well, The owners are very Christian which they proudly display and thus they must carry the burden of this cross.
    https://www.vox.com/the-goods/2019/5/29/18644354/chick-fil-a-anti-gay-donations-homophobia-dan-cathy

    This may help you understand.

    Politicians like things like this.

They don’t really change much of anything. And the mob falls for it every time.

But it’s a great way to pander to a base of support without having to actually change anything.

I don’t like the politics of the late founder of Chic Fil A. But it will remain my default fast food place.

Never been to a Hobby Lobby. There isn’t one around here.

So, funny story... I have an acquaintance who has a very simple explanation about Chic Fil A. I'll use his stage name.. Ms Fishy Aftertaste... said something approximating this.

"Gurl...you can't get me to eat no Chic Fit A... You want me looking like Oprah? No... No not for me. You stuff your face full of chi' en and what happens? You end up having to find yourself a Gail...."

So, it isn't really about the politics after all... just the calories...

I didn't say they treated them differently, but they back legislation that would allow it.

Oh I think there is still 'a problem', but the severity seems to have diminished. Its hard to know. I could never ever give my money to an company that donated to the despicable Family Research Counsel or Exodus. What they do in the name of Christianity to gay and trans youth and their parents..... I have no words beyond what you read here from every medical and counseling organization of repute . https://www.hrc.org/resources/policy-and-position-statements-on-conversion-therapy That those checks were ever sent from Chik- fil -a corporate accounts in the first place is despicable, but they seem to have seen the error in those ways.

wow, I am trying to find a definition for anti-gay, that these groups don't meet. Maybe you could tell me the forms of gay relationships or the forms of same sex conduct, that these groups are willing to provide their loving stamp of approval for. When , how and in what form is it okay to pursue same sex love and relationships? If you can't think of any, that position seems pretty 'anti-gay' to me too.

To their credit, they have not openly endorsed recriminalizing sodomy statutes and throwing gays in jail again. Maybe that is what you mean.

If you can't understand something that straight forward, then I suggest you take some more English classes.
