It looks like Chick-fil-A is either having second thoughts, or the story was misreported to begin with....

"Fast-food favorite Chick-fil-A hasn't ruled out donating to organizations that promote traditional marriage as LGBTQ rights groups continue to express doubts about the chain after it stopped giving to The Salvation Army and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

"Our goal is to donate to the most effective organizations in the areas of education, homelessness and hunger. No organization will be excluded from future consideration – faith based or non-faith based," Tim Tassopoulos, president and COO of Chick-fil-A, said in a statement."

Here is more information about the Chick-fil-A donations which the LGBTQ community want stopped. It seems pretty selfish, shortsighted, and ignorant on the part of the LGBTQ community to want to stop these donations just so they feel more validated.

"In 2017 and 2018, the Chick-fil-A Foundation gave $2.4 million to the Missouri-based Fellowship of Christian Athletes for sports camps for underserved youth, and $165,000 to the Salvation Army to buy Christmas gifts for needy children."

You are the one saying you will no longer stop there because they have stopped donating to organizations with a history of anti-gay bias. The salvation army is well documented in this regard.
They are labeled as anti-gay because of their actions — not because they are “christians”.

And no, there is no common ground when it comes to basic rights and dignity — the right and many “christians” want gay people to have zero rights, be marginalized, and made invisible. How do you approach common ground when your enemy wants you deleted?

The largest group that wants gays "deleted" are the radical muslins. Most others that have an issue with those being gay just want to ignore them. I would suggest that gays that are offended do the same.

Well documented? Then should be no issue provided evidence...

Huh? Christians want you to have no rights? What are you blathering about?

    Enemies?

Lol...Apparently, they do, since they're willing to throw their so-called principles under the bus to chase the almighty dollar.

Exceptional point. They really did sell out their morals for money. The love of money bites again.

Lets be honest here, all fast food is dog crap compared to the home cooked meals from scratch my generation grew up on. That is in the past, most kids today are raised on mediocre highly processed food.

Left wing freaks already boycott Chick Fil A. Why do they care so much about this company?

    1) Show proof of the Salvation Army's "anti-gay" bias.
    2) Show proof of the Salvation Army acted anti-gay.
    3) Show proof Christians want gays to have zero rights.

Anything from the Southern Poverty Law Center will be disregarded.

But how did/does those 'places' discriminate on race and/or gender? Specifically.

Not at all. It was run by a bunch of angry lesbians.

It closed because even Melbourne has a limit (hard to believe, but there it is). I suspect that even the very dim bulbs who get leg tingles from maxx-treme wokeness, recognised there was something not quite right with the picture.

Because they represent freedoms that are disallowed.

Of course, those same freedoms are allowed if your skin is the right colour or you have the right gods. IOW none of it is real, and all of it is exactly the kind of discriminatory ideology that was challenged in the 1960s. Freedoms for this god but not that god. Freedoms for your skin but not his skin. Etc.

Hardly, they are evolving with their profit margins. Anyway, it wasn't what the company did that got them in queers crosshairs. It was the private actions of the CEO. Well, we all saw how that farce ended, not well for the queers...

I guarantee it's not because they love bureaucrats. This is wholly a function of their unwillingness to take care of themselves. They don't really care who does it, as long as it's done - forever, with zero threat to the IV line. Govt offers that, so it's Govt they want.

Conservatives don’t like the politics of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, so we don’t buy the product. But we don’t go out of our way to destroy the company.

I guess that would make it simpler to hate, yes?

You may be reaching (but not around ... haha!) there, since plenty of people will support any organisation which stands up to the ideology thugs for THAT reason alone. Myself included. I'm an atheist, and have no issues at all with gay marriage, but I would support such an organisation because we need constant reminders of what tolerance and democracy actually mean. Too many are forgetting.
