Choose 2 Movies from any decade or Genre and defend yer choice.

    I'll start with My 2.

    - Midnight Cowboy - {1969} and - Easy Rider - {1969}.
Both movies impacted me as an early Film buf but I give the nod to
" Cowboy " for outstanding characterization.

I think that To Kill a Mockingbird was one of the best movies I've ever seen. (The book was outstanding, as well.)

Harper Lee wove a wonderful story of racial injustice, but even deeper, the evil that some people harbor in their hearts.

Oh my God! - this coming from a CONSERVATIVE! Who'dda thunk it?

Harper Lee was good friends with Truman Capote.I think she advised
Truman on - In Cold Blood -.
Her only novel was - To Kill a Mockingbird - which was rated as
the best performance ever by Gregory Peck who had a long and
    distinguished career.
Mockingbird was also rated one of the Best Motion Pictures of all
time in some film survey. Was Robert Duvals screen debut.I just got
thru watching Duvel in an - Outer Limits - episode entitled - The Chameleon-.

"Battle Royale"---definately a movie that will be with you days later...

"Mommie Dearest"--Faye Dunaway gives an astounding performance as Joan Crawford
