Would you be interested in attending a "Christian" night club with your significant other?

Would I be interested in attending a "Christian" night club with my wife???????

I do know that my wife might be quite interested in this particular night club..... because after all... my wife is from Quito, Ecuador and has taught Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Zumba and Salvation!

No twerking. No drinking. No smoking. But it's still a party at this Christian nightclub

"The rules were announced on the dance floor by a mic-carrying emcee to more than 200 clubgoers blanketed by thick smoke machine fog"

"And a third rule: No smoking.”

wonder if they are also against e-cigs as fog machines are the same stuff

Depending on the music they play, Dennis. ;)

Why is that? Isn't it more important what comes out of your mouth than what comes in (food, alcohol, smoke)? Why can't a Christian drink and smoke, and praise God at the same time? :)

Other than that, every Evangelical Sunday service feels like clubbing. Even better, they have live bands at the party.

Think smoking is banned in nightclubs already .. but what is the point of a nightclub where there is no drinking .. no "Shots" .. no "Beer Pong" :) ..is there a dress code ..?

But... the word "Christian" is subject to a wide range of definition so many denominations do not ban drinking..... after all......

grape juice in the Middle East in a wine bag will soon ferment and be preserved in its alcohol.

And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.

9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.

Good Grief Dennis .. these Fundamentalists -- take the entire Bible literally --- 100% God Breathed .. as in -- in the most sacred of Christian Ritual -- "Do this in remembrance of me" is a ritual that "literally" involves wine ... but Oh .. No .. we are going to substitute grape juice because God wants all to abstain from Alcohol.

In Deuteronomy God commands that if folks live too far from the temple to tithe .. take the money go out .. buy beer, wine beef, lamb .. anything you like and have a festival of celebration in my name.

When Melchi-Zedek comes out to meet Abraham .. they engage in a ritual involving bread and wine .. giving praise to the Supreme one .. El Olium.

Deut 14: 22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. 23 Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the Lord your God always. 24 But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the Lord your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the Lord will choose to put his Name is so far away), 25 then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the Lord your God will choose. 26 Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice.

Now that is what I'm talking about Brother Dennis .. Big Party -- "harvest festival" Give thanks to the Lord for good crops .. have a big celebration in the name of the Lord .. :) Har har har

    Brilliantly stated Giftedone!

I was a member of a Messianic Jewish group that got together for the Festival of Tabernacles in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and in many other locations all over the world and yes..... we purchased beer or wine or stronger drinks with our Festival Tithe, the Second Tithe of our incomes! I was at Worldwide Church of God Festivals of Tabernacles every year from 1979 to 1990 but then I went in a different direction once I could no longer believe in our "Soul Sleep" doctrine.

We also used an actual dry red wine along with kosher Jewish matzos for our Passover celebration that we did once per year. At home I still buy a dry red wine and kosher matzos to celebrate Passover. I also go without eating leavened products during the days of Unleavened Bread in the Spring each year, [assuming that I don't temporarily forget what I am doing]??????.

True..... a genuine Christian should not sleep around but..... they could end up talking all night.... probably at a Tim Horton's here in Canada... or some sort of similar business in the USA.

I believe that if Prince Andrew was serious in his understanding of the teachings of the Church of England he would have let those young ladies know that he would be obligated to marry them.... if they went to fourth base!!!!!!?????

I guess we could say that Prince Andrew is somewhat aposTate from the full teachings of the Church of England...... assuming the validity of the Nicky Gumble Th. D. understanding of the IDEAL Church of England teachings on dating and marriage?????? Or am I incorrect in that???????

I plead guilty to smoking ONE cigarette over these past two years. i met an amazing man here in Mississauga who had had a near death experience. He had been in a coma for fifteen days....... but then his Hindu nurse prayed and said essentially....... : " I know that my Hindu gods will not answer me..... but I know that Jesus will answer me....... in the name of JESUS rise up out of your coma W.....!!!!!" And W..... came out of his coma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to admit that I especially liked those DuMaurier cigarettes with the charcoal filter that Walter was smoking!!!!!
