Its all political fun and games, until you get sick, and ObamaCare just forced the cancellation of your health insurance, you can't afford the ludicrous costs of the ObamaCare plans, and so you're told that they'll just let you die. I can already see where this is going... American will suddenly have a huge surge in Black Marget, under the table health care. If you can't get what's needed to survive through the "System", you'll simply go around it. In the longer run, this is probably a really good thing for America. After all, Russia would not have survived at all without its endemic Black Markets. -

26 the last time I counted. But you would not be allowed to log into most of the forums I routinely visit. No, I do not put exactly the same posts on all of them. In most other than PF, other posters actually have conversations and debates, not just snide one liner ad-hominem attacks. This forum used to have real debates, before the bias was applied and all of the threads with real differences of opinion and thought from the Liberal Dogma were not just deleted. All of my old comrades like Unifier and Pregnar Kraps seem to have found other, less biased forums as well. I kept hoping that a few more tries and maybe things here would turn around... But it seems that the Leftie shills and Admin Bias have killed all debate on this site. Well, Enjoy! -
This is how the facts relate to "keeping your insurance if you like it". 1. The ACA was designed to bring affordable care to those that couldn't get it thru their employer or own their own................and to raise the standards of care they(and everyone else) would receive. 2. There's not one line in the ACA that makes or forces insurance companies to cancel policies. In fact, ones sold before the ACA was signed could be "grandfathered" in. 3. They cancelled policies, instead of amending them, to make the ACA look bad. (Cancel gives people the idea that they no longer have insurance, when in fact you could just choose another plan during open enrollment. Amending their policy gives people the idea they still have insurance, but its just that their policy has only been amended.) So when writing the law, there's no reason to think that insurance companies would cancel policies instead of amending them. Its ultimately up to the insurers and because they COULD amend the policies instead of cancelling them(semantics really) and because there is nothing in the ACA that makes or forces them to cancel policies.....................when the president said you could keep your insurance if you like it, we can see that he was basing this off the above. There was no reason to think that you couldn't keep your insurance. Your policy could have been amended! Now, if you were president and claimed that people could keep their insurance if they liked it and if I was the CEO of an insurance company and I didn't like your law.................would I amend the already existing policies(which has no negative effect on your law) or would I cancel them(which makes your law look bad)? Hmmmmmmmm.
