Hate to break the news to you, but this whole fabricated CNN scandal is just another conservative circle jerk. BTY, I don't watch television. I don't even know what is on CNN, or Fox News for that matter. All I know about Republicans is watching their actions in government, which tends to be destructive, and the rantings of conservatives on-line. Neither inspires me to have a positive opinion of anything on the right.

 

Made up stories and outright lies are not empirical evidence. A recent study showed the MSM'S stories about Trump was 97% negative, Fox's coverage was 51% positive Trump and 49% negative. Who wouldn't want to shut up biased one-sided reporting ?! DEMOCRATS THAT'S WHO

Now lets take that one step further and apply this to the rest of your post. You are faced with the fact that Conservatives complain about the media being Liberal, on that we both agree. We both also agree that the media is in fact Liberal. While trying to figure out WHY Conservatives complain about the agreed upon fact that the media is liberal, you completely ignore the obvious reasons like them being biased is unfair, or that it makes it more difficult to push the Conservative agenda etc. INSTEAD, YOU conclude that it is because "that is the way cults work"....LOL....does that honestly make sense to you ? What are you even trying to say? Is it your contention that cults work by complaining about the media? Really? What does that even mean ?

To me, your reasoning is truly nonsensical. To make matters worse, you go on to say that Conservatives want to shut them up. They do? I haven't heard calls for that. Ive only heard calls for correctly identifying them as biased. The only calls I have heard for censorship, safe spaces, or reinstating the fairness doctrine, have been from the left.

I don't believe that even you believe what you have said here. I believe that instead of to inform or have a legitimate exchange of ideas, your only purpose in this post is to inflame and bicker over nothing. Trump is jumping with glee, and there is nothing there, only a story he and his friends have been telling us for months. There is no collusion because the evidence has not been leaked to the press. That's ludicrous, but the desperate President is treating the story like the second coming.

Arrayed on the other side is the media, Democrats and Republicans in Congress who strongly support Mueller, chronic leakers in the White House and Congress who don't like Trump, even sources within the FBI and CIA. According to the latest poll Monday from Gallup, Trump's approval rating was just 36 percent, compared with 58 percent who disapproved. The current president the least popular commander in chief at that point in a term in the history of modern polling.

CNN said it's standing by one of its producers who was seen on a secret video recording calling the investigation into President Trump and Russia "mostly bullshit right now."

Well, if "Circle Jerk" is defined as schadenfreude upon watching CNN distance itself from it's own story about RussiaGate and having everyone's suspicions confirmed as to how low the network will sink, then I suppose so. I prefer the term "Poetic Justice", but hey - that's me.

I don't care if you watch it or not. Neither do I, for that matter. I stopped watching cable for half a year when my house flooded, and didn't miss it when it returned. With my son gone, I disconnected it completely awhile back. I watch MSNBC only because it's on at the doctor's office. Nowadays I find all cable news amusing.

Fair enough. When I myself see liberals on-line making excuses for what their own leaders do which is destructive and counter-productive to what is correct, I feel the same way.
