True...... the fact that China and India were ignoring Kyoto is one of the major reasons why P. M. Stephen Harper and President Bush also ignored it. If they had signed it...... the statistics in the film "Death by China" would have been even more grim.

This could be one more indication that we're entering an El Nino year and why I heard Bill Maher last night mention it as the reason Southern Cal's drought would be gone shortly, but it plays hell with Peru (along the Pacific). If the normally east to west trade winds slow considerably, that would mean that a lesser amount of warm air is blown across Peru. Lack of warm air would definitely mean that a colder winter would ensue, but it does not mean that global warming/climate change has stopped.
