"Not working" of their own choice. They don't want to get a job and we should pay them? You can pay them if you want to. What's stopping you?
not really, it was pretty clear. you have the option to work while attending school, generally speaking school is your job while enrolled, assuming you are enrolled full time and certainly if you are standard college age not an adult. As a parent of a recent college grad we discouraged working because we wanted to see good grades AND it was a quite difficult degree, so our child went full time and attended classes year round, student loans paid the bulk of the expenses and we pitched in when and where we could.
lol. only the right wing has nothing but stereotypes. employment is at the will of either party; it is about equal protection of the law.
It must be really hard to push the "hungry Americans" narrative at a time when Americans just keep getting fatter and fatter. I admire your tenaciousness.
employment is at the will of either party. guess there are no downsides to equal protection of the law for unemployment compensation on an at-will basis in our at-will employment States.
"i feel sorry for those of the opposing view for having nothing but fallacy instead valid arguments." @danielpalos And I feel sorry for those who have no understanding of the basis for unemployment compensation and fail to comprehend that there is no such thing as "free" anything, and have nothing but personal attacks and one-liners (with peculiar bot-like sentence structure and syntax) instead of valid arguments. But hey, you do you Heck, why not argue for unemployment compensation from birth Daniel!
I seriously don't know what point you're trying to make, and I don't really care. That lazy American college kids are supposedly hungry because they CHOOSE to exercise their right not to work, yeah... cry me a river.
No. Why would I know that? I've had the same job for the last 30 years. What does that have to do with anything?
And at a time when unemployment is at a record low. He doesn't want to get a job and we should pay him. ludicrous.
What the hell? That's been going on for 40 years, maybe longer. A friend of mine in school's main course was often Ramen noodles.Another friend sometimes ate the potluck gruel the Hari Krishna's brought around campus to find new recruits. Any meal in a storm.
i understand equal protection of the law and the legal concept of employment at the will of either party. the right wing has nothing but appeals to ignorance.
