“COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A Christian student organization represented by Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday against the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, for forcing the group to accept members and officers that don’t share the group’s beliefs. The university refused to grant Ratio Christi registered status because it only allows those who share and personally hold beliefs consistent with the group’s mission to serve as its leaders.

As a Christian apologetics organization, Ratio Christi seeks to defend the Christian faith and explain how the Bible applies to various current cultural, ethical, and political issues.” https://adflegal.org/detailspages/p...tians-lead-your-group-if-you-want-recognition This is about a school trying to compel a Christian organization to have non Christians in their student leadership positions. The awesome religious liberty group Alliance Defending Freedom is in court trying to protect the religious liberty of this Christian group and it’s members. The bigotry against Christians at schools, in public spaces, and on on line sites is stifling, overwhelming and comes from a spirit of hate against us by all those people.

If this standard is applied to all groups on campus I have no problem with it.

If they are singling out Christians then that is wrong.

General message to all other groups: If you have a group or club, with admission based on specific ethnicity, religious, or sexual orientation criteria, you must be led by someone not meeting those requirements... to LEAD you.

Why? Because The University of Colorado interprets "Multiculturalism and Diversity"to mean that no group of people can be allowed to voluntarily segregate themselves and form a club based on certain criteria. The principle of "Forced Integration" has been established by the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and has been amplified with supplemental legislation such as "Affirmative Action" effectively nullifying "freedom of Association" principle which the SCOTUS has ruled is implied in the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution as a basic individual right.

Freedom of association encompasses both an individual's right to join or leave groups voluntarily, the right of the group to take collective action to pursue the interests of its members, and the right of an association to accept or decline membership based on certain criteria. Freedom of Association, The Essentials of Human Rights[clarification needed] describes the right as coming together with other individuals to collectively express, promote, pursue and/or defend common interests. Freedom of Association is both an individual right and a collective right, guaranteed by all modern and democratic legal systems, including the United States Bill of Rights, article 11 of the European Convention on Human Rights, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and international law, including articles 20 and 23 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work by the International Labour Organization also ensures these rights.
