It is my belief that are government is at the point where we must completely tear it down and rebuild it

My suggestion is that we take the base we have now and change a few things. First their should be three types of citizenship's a basic citizenship, a full citizenship, and a office holder. The basic citizens have all the rights a full citizen has except rights to vote and other select liberties. Then there are the full citizens who have done at least one term of national service and have put effort and commitment into the nations and have all the rights except to hold office in government. Finally there is the office holder someone who has served at least five years of national service understand the workings of the nation and has major investment into the nation has all rights.

Right in your first sentence is exactly why your suggestion will not be taken seriously nor should it as if shows your lack of education and understanding about how our government works.

First off, what makes you think this sort of task can be accomplished so easily? If we were to reform our country like don't you think some radical groups would try to jump in to make it suit themselves and their lifestyle? That would be the chance that they've been waiting for. Secondly, if this were to happen, I imagine it would be up to the boys in D.C. on how to change our system with proposals. Nothing would get done, believe me. What makes you think the congress that shut down America for a few days over a stupid law will be able to come to agreement on how this country should be ran?
