Yup...on to round 2 of Eagles/Bucs game. My Packers won....I'm pleasantly surprised...and pleased. Cowboys choked.
Lions break 32-Year Playoff drought on Sunday, and get another Home game in the process. The Lions (formerly based at the Pontiac Silverdome) win their first playoff game in Downtown Detroit since the 1957 Championship Game.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Me and my kids attribute it to our judicious wearing of the cheesy cardboard Lions helmet by my son and my wife not being able to take the last 4 minutes and getting up to clean up the leftover snacks. The tall wooden African giraffe in the corner is doing his helmet wearing until next week. Got to maintain newly forged traditions you know.
