According to the non partisan Congressional Research Service congress CAN defund Obama's unconstitutional power grab.

Whether funded by congress or self funded by fees collected, merely by controlling funds intended to administrate issuing green cards and work permits by the United States Citizenship Immigration Service (and register, research and process millions of
possible applications for Obama's deferred deportation status) congress can cripple and stop the illegal power grab reasserting
congress' control of federal immigration policy and law.

If John Boehner can reel in quisling Hal Rogers of Kentucky (House Appropriations Chair), who continues to work on an omnibus spending bill, instead of giving Obama smaller targeted piecemeal bills that cover all of government's needs, except his deferred deportation illegality, it is entirely possible, in the opinion of the Congressional Research Service (whose business it is to know) to stop The Lightworker in his tracks by taking his money away.

So do leftists still want to claim that republicans are powerless to stop Obama (lawsuits will take too long though they still need to be filed) from thumbing his nose at the law? It's pointless to do so now.
