A subpoena in a criminal probe was issued to the House sergeant at arms, but they did not mention who the subpoena was for. However, multiple news entities say it is for Cori Bush, who paid her husband tens of thousands of dollars out of her campaign funds for "security services" despite him not being licensed to provide professional security work in her home state or DC. A watchdog group filed an ethics complaint against Bush about a year ago, and nothing seemed to have been done about it until recently. I'm unsure what has changed that Biden's DOJ is now interested in pursuing this. I'm sure there will be theories on that.
