    I believe homos deserve equal right and all that, but I can understand Romney not wanting someone in his campaign staff who maintains an abnormal lifestyle.

    Then you guys should do more reaching out to women seeking abortions. If your intent here is truly to help the kids and not just offend heterosexuals, then you could significantly help cut down on the number of abortions. Which is good for everyone.

    You sound like a liberal using a diversionary tactic. We were speaking of a homo, and I believe Newt is a hetero. Also, Newt seems to be happily married to a woman for many years, and has asked for forgiveness for previous mistakes. None of us are perfect, but it still is understandable that Romney would prefer the homo go.

    Newt is far less an inspiration for marriage than any gay I know.

    Why? There's so many unwanted children out there? Can you imagine how many more there would be if abortion was banned?

    Face it. More homosexuals are financially, educationally, and intelligently more qualified to be a parent than many hetero's.

    I can appreciate the subtle aspects of a joke, although yours was likely just a pissy diversion. I'm sure my intelligence likely exceeds yours. Newt's ok, at least he's normal.

    Grenell left because of the criticism he was receiving from zealots who want the Republican party to die from lack of support from anyone but straight protestant whites. Romney actually wanted the guy to stay on.

    Religion and politics...oil and water...they don't mix. Worry about the economy, wars, health care, but leave religion out of it. it has no place in politics.

    To a degree, you are correct. However, going back to The Declaration Of Independence, Judeo-Christian principles werre inserted, and some of those can be helpful for politics.
