Water is the coolest thing on the planet. And I don't mean temperature, I mean it's the greatest thing that was ever invented by any super sentient mind. I mean, whom EVER came up with water must be a supra-genius. He, or she as the case MAY be, must have an IQ in the tens of thousands.

Yous ee, without water we can't have life on this planet. Elsewhere in the universe may be other forms of life that could exist without water, but that is sheer speculation.

    Water shapes the land.

Water can be made into thousands of different types of drinks for us to enjoy the sweetness, ir the bitterness of.

    Water puts out fires.

Water is used to cook some foods.

    But best of all....

Water is the deadliest weapon ever devised by man. Why, if you cause it to implode, it has the power to crack the earth asunder, and I don't mean wipe out every single form of life on the face of this planet. I mean turn it into a huge asteroid field.

So, is water cool, or what?

So, if only people could take it far more seriously, and stop dumping their garbage and poisons and toxins into it, maybe just maybe, we'd have more water to use for out purposes.

    Thank you for your consideration.

You could say the same for carbon, or oxygen, or heat, or the nuclear forces that hold anything together beyond nanoscopic structures.

It is important to us, though. But a flaw of the human mind being able to operate far beyond the realm of survival is that we can often operate against our survival in favor of our ambitions or vices. It seems, as ever, nature seems to have balance.
