So? We KNOW much less people die from Chinese Virus than when this menace became known. Why do you suppose the MSM does not talk about it, preferring to talk about huge new infection rates and not decrease in mortality rate?

I know the answer. Do you?

The low mortality rates are actually the most enlightening news. If it was as bad as predicted there would be a lot more deaths.

Indeed. Low mortality rate does not play well into Democrats hand, so they do not talk about it.

We now know more about how to treat it yes but that has not stopped over 125,000 dying in the USA

more infections still means more deaths

125,000 dead.......so far. And as near as anyone knows only 10% of the population has been infected so far.

    chew on this too

the more cases you have simultaneously the lower the survival rate is

You'd better opt out of that cancerous capitalism immediately, lest people begin to think you're just virtue signalling.

Hand in all your toys, your income, your clothes, your shoes, your car, your house, and your fridge full of freely chosen yummies. Report to Factory #819 tomorrow at 6am, where you will be provided with a basic workmans uniform, workboots, a toothbrush, a comb, and two scratchy blankets. You will be allocated a dorm place, then fed a lunch of rice and beans.

No it didn't. I'm in a country with a capitalist Mini Trump leader, and we're beating that damned virus into a pulp. In fact the nations winning the fight represent every iteration of politics and economies. And some Lefty nations are losing badly .. aka, Sweden.

    Are you for real, DB?

How do you explain increased testing finding LESS cases (than the days/weeks/months before), as it has where I live?

How many of those 125К unfortunate victims had autopsy performed on them to figure out what they really died from?

Right. To many if any at all.

Less people die from Chinese virus now then before while more tests been done and more people diagnosed with it.

Let me repeat - more people found to be infected while less people die from Chinese virus. MSM does not mention this while celebrating increase in infections, blaming Trump for it.

The "msm" repeats the death numbers and the increased infection numbers multiple times a day. The reason why the death numbers have flattened is because deaths lag behind infections by 2-3 weeks. So the lower death numbers now are directly a reflection of the lower infection rates from 2-3 weeks ago.

It is very highly likely that death rates will start to climb again 2-3 weeks after the infections started to rise again.

The reason 125,000+ are counted as Covid-19 deaths is because a medical examiner made the determination that Covid-19 played a causal factor in their death.

There are plenty of deaths already and the case mortality rate for this virus, as defined by dividing the total deaths by the total resolved (deaths + recovered) is north of 8% in the United States. And that is true even after you account for some States refusing to announce their recoveries.

I note you have no validation for your claims

how many “less” - 10% of ICU admissions? 20? 30? And it it not so much the mortality rate as the morbidity rate

As I said your mortality will rise when hospitals are overwhelmed

Gee and how many medical examiners are doing that to get to 125,000? This is what they do not “get” this is not a couple of doctors miscounting this is a pandemic

The numbers of dead is likely greatly inflated as a person who dies with covid-19 is deemed a covid-19 death.

An increase in reported cases of covid-19 doesn't equate to an increase in actual cases. They just know more of them exist and what this does to the numbers is it drastically drops the mortality rate.

You should be careful with statistics, don't use them to say what you want to say they speak for themselves.

A medical examiner? No, medical examiners are normally employed when cause of death is unknown.

If someone Kaiser hospital or nursing home under the care of medical staff Lipton determine cause of death you normally don't need a medical examiner for that.

And are you in the camp that believes that all deaths are being misdiagnosed as covid deaths?

    it is imple maths

Have you had more deaths than usual for this time of year? If so what killed them - remembering that a large number of these people have been admitted to hospital and have had a diagnosis

Every year there's a pandemic it's called the flu.

And the numbers for covid-19 are pretty much on par. Remember to count the deaths by season with regards to flu they don't just keep counting everyone that dies as part of the same number.

And yes the dean every death with covid-19 as a covid-19 death. it doesn't matter if every time your phone cancer if they 107 years old, or if they got a car accident.
