File this under: No s!#$ Sherlock. I'm in healthcare. My RN's have been sick with covid-19 symptoms as early as November.
Give it time. They'll trace it back in the US all the way to 2019.
The Democrats might actually have to man up & actually blame China instead of politicizing it against Trump so they can weasel their way into the White House. I'm actually surprised CNN posted this. It goes against their narrative.

    So?

Even with the plain evidence of 100s of thousands sick and bodies in the street in China, our President and the entire Right Wing press ignored the plain truth up to March! (Alot of the Right Wing still choose to ignore this seriousness of this disease!)

Trump denied this disease even when we could see the devastation! Some of the Right Wing White House, Congress, and good ol' Fox News! Oh, yeah, and Rush too!

What would it have made any difference if China had said things earlied? America would have it ignored then too!

It's really your narrative of them.

Yes, this virus was around late 2019.
Which means our pandemic team should have been on this way back at the end of last year.
But it doesn't seem like anyone was on top of it, until March or so.
Sure there was a stop of Chinese nationals coming in from China. But that was not very much action.

 Yeah because everyone listened so well in NY. It took 18,000 people to die before the general public figured out that maybe they should quarantine themselves or practice social distancing if going out was necessary. Meanwhile Chris Cuomo of CNN is out gallivanting around NYC positive with covid-19 AND not wearing a mask. So much for a state full of Democrats being the smartest people in the country. :roflol:

Face the facts. If Trump shut down the country the left would have ignored it completely & done the complete opposite. Democrats just need an excuse to blame someone else for their own stupidity. New York is proof of that.

Trump, despite his claims of absolute authority, had zero ability to shut down the country completely. He did, however, have the capacity to convince Republican governors to issue those types of orders and that is why Governors of Florida and Georgia waited until his "more somber" press conference to issue those orders.

Also, the NY death count on the day that New York issued its stay at home order was 35, not 18000. Even if you meant the total for the US, it was 70.

Our pandemic team should've been ahead of a virus that China either unwittingly didn't know about and/or suppresssed(and/or BOTH)? Seriously, listen to yourself for a second on that one.

The fact that this thing's been around since November, means that the threat is literally exaggerated. How much its exaggerated is unknown because see, that wasn't on Fauci/BIrx's radar. It wasn't what the "science"(ROFL) was telling them.

This isn't a black mark on Trump. It's a black mark on the lab coat rats, who told us they knew what they were doing, even as they suppressed our civil rights and liberties. And even as they continue to be proven wrong TODAY, and repeatedly, we double down. We have to, lest we fail to save face.

What this has been, is a tell-tale sign of why Bloomberg's society fails, and why lab coat rats should've never been given this power. They lack the political judgment and/or acumen necessary to make these calls. And the politicians who RELIED on them(and yes, including Trump) lacks that acumen as well.

This is another unveiling of the curtain of our weak political system in America, and we citizens have to wake up to that fact. It's not "Orange Man Bad." We've got some SERIOUS problems, as seen by these governors. We're not taking our choices seriously.

"OMG, Diverse Congress." That cannot be the mindset of voters in a few months. After this debacle, PLEASE make conscious decisions on thinkers who can think on their feet, are pragmatic and value our system of government.

Gov'ts all over the world have teams monitoring for potential viral pandemics.

Please don't switch to the death count to try and make Cuomo look more competent, by the time he issued the stay at home order, NY was a ****ing hot spot of all hot spots. And it was way too late by then.(Not that it matters since if a November time table is true, it means that no action we took or didn't take would've stopped the spread.)

If the diseases has been with us since November, and no one noticed until February, how serious is it?

Can't teach people who have ZERO clue as the timeline of events. They still have no idea Pelosi tired to stop Trump from limiting travel from China the day after he proposed it in January. Bubble world for bubble heads=)
