Funny that. Alas some Palestinians who have been evicted from property they lived on previously (in same cases for generations) beg to differ. Maybe you tell them that, not me.

This is utter nonsense. There was ZERO possibility of Oct 7 extending farther than it did.

In fact, Gaza was shocked that it went that far.
It is simply ludicrous to consider a terrorist attack as genocide.

And, Hamas absolutely did NOT consider that they could have done more than capture some hostages.

Their intent was to put the Israeli war against Gaza back on the map, whereas it had been ignored for more than a decade.
No, the siege of Gaza has been war for the past decades.
The siege of Gaza includes its land borders, its sea border and its airspace.

Suggesting that doesn't exist is just flat out sophistry.
Israel's escalated war is targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure, NOT the various fighting groups defending Gaza.

What we are seeing IS genocide, carried out with US permission and US bombs and permission to starve civilians to death.
It's about whether Netanyahu will be arrested for his war crimes, as were certain Nazis after WWII.

This is an International Criminal Court issue. The intent of journalists is to inform us of events and directions.

Netanyahu does have various legal problems in Israel, and they may call for an election, but that is for Israel to deal with.

For twenty years, Israel has been making war on Palestine.

In West Bank they bulldoze the homes of those living their and destroy their farms. They rule much of West Bank with Israeli military law in which the population has no representation.

In Gaza, the siege has been in place for decades and that IS war.

It is crushing for those living under the restrictions against having an economy, fishing, exporting goods, travel, etc.

NO people can live under a siege like that.

Thats irrelevant, as I explained before.

Yes, of course, thats they did it, thats why the people were on the streets cheering when they watched women paraded through the streets whose trousers were soaked in blood.

Absolutely not, I mean the definition of genocide is not too difficult to understand. Which part didnt you get? I mean, there are thousands of different scenarios in which a terror attack could constitute genocide. Some very obvious, if you smuggle a terrorist in a country who manages to trigger a nuclear explosion which kills most of the population killing most of the rest with a fallout with the intent to annihilate a country/ethnic group/religous group, its obvious genocide.

Your claims are absolutely ridiculous and rather show, you dont know the terms you are using.

Lol, they murdered, tortured and raped by accident, all they wanted was 10 hostages. Made my day!

So congratulations then, they were succesfull in that sense. Just spare me the tears over the rightful punishment of murderers, psychopathic sadists and rapists.

Thats the definition of a siege:

So, there was absolutely no siege, quite the opposite, Israel ended its occupation in Gaza and withdrew.

    1. Thats not true.
    2. There would be no escalation in this scenario because the Palestinians just did exactly that.

Nonsense, as said above, you just keep repeating it. And thats imo what this thread is all about, repeating this fairy tale.

You are contradicting yourself, but in the last sentence there is for the first time some truth in what you say. Its a problem Israel has to deal with. In fact this thread is only an excuse for anti-Semites to bring up their lies again, you once again illustrate here (Israel = Nazis crap).

The statements by Israel on that event have been found to include horrendous lies.

The charges of rape make little sense in that Muslims would consider that as defiling themselves in a way that has serious religious import.
There is no chance that a terrorist of a few hours could be considered genocide.

That's just not a legitimate claim.
In the end, there is no justification for genocide.

I don't mean that THIS event didn't justify genocide.

I mean that there is no justification for genocide.

First of all, there’s no such nation as Palestine. There never has been.

Second, Israel only responds when they are attacked.

Is Israel supposed to sit back and allow their people to be raped and killed?

    Ok, this is beyond acceptable.

The IDF specializes is slaughtering civilians.

Anyone would be STUPID to hide behind a civilian in Gaza. Civilians are the TARGET.

In Gaza, the IDF kills well marked press, well known aid workers, doctors, patients in hospitals, the hostages they are supposed to rescue but shoot in the face instead, BABIES, individuals carrying bags of foreign aid, etc. There is NO discretion. There is no discernable focus on military objectives.

In WWII we bombed military targets in Germany. Our bombing accuracy was horrible, but that is why we bombed.

And, when we bombed Dresden, even WE recognized it as a humanitarian atrocity.

We did not walk up to unarmed German civilians and shoot them and their babies in the face.

The IDF tied up civilians from Shifa hospital and ran over them with a bulldozer. They are finding bodies with IV tubes attached.

    The rape stories are false.

    Genocide is NEVER acceptable.

There is no proportionality nor any acceptable objective in the acts of the IDF.

And when Israel "reesponds", how much human slaughter is ok with yu?? How many has Israel killed in this current mess?? The cycle of violence just keeps going round and round. The question is: WHY is there so much resentment against Israel. ?? Israel has been provocative too. These recements have been brewing for a long time and involve belief systems, cultural differences and maybe the reality is that these cultures just are not able to get along peacefully and will simply fluctuate between antagonizing each other , a quiet lull, than more violence . Until the resentments are addressed and worked through......nothing will change. Until Both parties are MOTIVATED to address their situation in a problem solving constructive manner......NOTHING will change.

When the US became an independent state we needed one recognized independent state to recognize America. Morocco did so, finalizing our nation.

Palestine is recognized as a state by 134 members of the UN - well recognized independent states.

The USA may continue denying Palestine statehood and may continue helping Israel slaughter Palestinians, but there is NO ARGUMENT that Palestine absolutely is a state.

It is not a UN member, because the USA has consistently vetoed applications by Palestine that have passed review and have achieved a majority of the UNSC membership - the process for UN membership.

So, today it is a nonvoting observer state of the UN, and thus has made itself susceptible to the various branches of the UN, such as the ICC, ICJ, etc.

    Your second is BS.

The siege of Gaza has continued for 20 years, and that is an unabated war against Gaza throughout that period.

Palestine is not a full member of the UN because of the USA alone.

And, OUR contribution has been the bombs and UN protection that allows Israel to carry out humanitarian atrocities on West Bank Palestinians and Gaza.

the apologizing for Hamas gets tiresome.

    https://apnews.com/article/israel-p...7-hamas-gaza-fe1a35767a63666fe4dc1c97e397177e

based on first-hand accounts of released hostages, she said the team “found clear and convincing information” that some women and children during their captivity were subjected to the same conflict-related sexual violence including rape and “sexualized torture.”

The report comes nearly five months after the Oct. 7 attacks, which left about 1,200 people dead and some 250 others taken hostage

The real problem here is that there is no trustable investigation.

so you believe Hamas over the UN or Israel? Is your denial of the claims of rape based on a good faith belief they didn't happen or due to hating Israel and or the USA-or is it because you cannot believe that the terrorists in Hamas would rape people during their cowardly sneak attack on unarmed civilians?

I tend to believe Israel over jihadist scumbag terrorists.

There was at least one significant rape story that came out of the New York Times where there was a reporter with significant Israeli connections.

Her story was echoed by numerous press outlets. It was later found that she had no evidence, was fired and the story retracted.

Israel has propagated false stores on just about every angle of the raid and the war since then.

I hope Israel's isn't the sole investigation. Data on deaths, etc., from Gaza should be believed as they are coming from medical workers, etc. The big problem there is that the local estimates are that there are at least 10,000 uncounted dead under the rubble. Some areas stink of rotting humans.

If you think that terrorist attack was a cowardly attack on unarmed civilians, what do you think of the 6 months of Israeli slaughter of unarmed civilians?

Was that brave? Did it accomplish an objective?

How does blaming , solve anything?? What are the realistic options for resolving these long standing chronic issues??? ( as in problem solving techniques) What will make BOTH parties WANT to stop hostilities and warring and terrorizing and aim towards peaceful co existence ??

well until the Jihadists give back the remaining hostages and stop demanding the end of Israel, Israel needs to keep engaging in its operations to eliminate the threats

Netanyahu could go to jail for violating Israeli law. I don't think Truman's history has anything to do with it.

Right. So the people without AK47s are supposed to stand up and fight the people armed with AK47s. Care to explain exactly how that's going to work Rambo? Even better perhaps you could volunteer to lead them in their fight since your so keen on the idea. No?

At some point it will just create the motivation for more terrorism. All they are doing is fostering more mutual hatred.

It is evident that neither party is willing to try and resolve their problems. or just cannot. Emotions have to settle down before constructive talks can take place and that has to include to complete cease fire agreement on both sides. for a cooling off period. It may take a third party...totally NEUTRAL to negotiate these talks . Someone that is not invested in either side. Someone that has a good understanding of both cultures as that is imperative. Civility must be restored as part of the process. The two parties have had a cycle of violence for too long now and neither can be counted on to be objective.

Another option is to have all outside support removed.........and see how long they can carry on warring and terrorizing. Then the two parties would be fully responsible for what happens and the outcomes.

Gaza's defensive forces are below ground, not hiding among civilians.

Israel is losing the war. Civilians support that.

So the anti-Semites say although they know better

    https://www.lemonde.fr/en/internati...-during-hamas-attack-on-israel_6595811_4.html

Your claim is incredibly ridiculous, as Muslims adore a man as a prophet who systematically use rape. Of course these Islamists can claim they are allowed to rape the female sex slaves the took from the Kafirs. Thats why the number of gang rapes in Germany is exploding since 2015 a crime that didnt happen even every year in the crime statistic which now occurs more than 3 times per day.

Again, you simply have no idea what you are talking about.

I gave you just an example with a nuclear explosion which could take place into seconds. Sorry, if the UN definition of genocide is too challenging for you.

Right, thats why the Palestinians need to feel harsh consequences. They need to pay for what they did on Octobre 7th, they need to pay for the fact that their elected officials claimed openly for decades its great to kill Jews and horrendous stuff like that.

They used international aid to build up their terrorist armies to committ that terrible crime, so there must be consequences. There is a lot of pressure on Germany, which gave a lot of money to build up these criminal armies and tunnel systems to stop funding UNWRA, hopefully these initiatives are successful and a lot of Western states dont suppport it even with a Cent.
