    OP (no takers)

If silence equals acquiescing, and the definition of acquiescing is 'tacit assent', let's free up two jail spaces and just get on and do it?

In the old days lads with a knack for chemistry could make test tube of nitroglycerin in the backwoods and have some fun.
Today with all these muslims and the terror plots they bring with them they have RUINED the hobby of explosives. Not just explosives but anyone who has any chemicals for amateur purposes.

I suppose it started with the IRA bombing capaign, which eventually wound down, but the jihadist Islamic terrorism that came along with the mass migration of refugees into the U.K. in the last 25 years has really been a death blow. (pun not intended)

So many restrictive laws have been passed, and now the police go knocking down the doors of anyone who falls under suspicion. One man in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, was arrested because apparently he had a few things in his large collection of World War II relics that were not legal (there were a few artillery shells that had never been emptied).
