It is not a special privilege to demand with the force of law that a person or business perform a service that they wish not to perform?

I call trying to use the government to force a t-shirt printer to print something he does not want to, is seeking "special privilege".

This is the crowning difference with liberals and conservatives
Conservatives believe government is beholden to the will of the people
liberals believe the people are beholden to the will of the government

Would you want businesses discriminating against you for stupid, arbitrary reasons? We take it for granted that we can go to a business and be served without issue. I think it's sad for gays if they're treated so poorly by certain businesses; it's not like they're doing something wrong to deserve that. They're not harming anyone.

Well, except whe the Conservatives want government to force other people to behave like themselves.

Sounds a lot more that religious people, with the force of law, deny people a service.. as innocent as printing a shirt about love. Now that is rather being utterly special.

    The what?

    No no...
Conservatives want the government to intervene in the private lives of the individual.
While liberals want the government to not bother with the private lives of the individual.

That how you end up with a gay marriage ban

So then a baker would only have to provide "a cake" for a gay wedding. Sans message. Anything "expressive" (like words on the cake, or two plastic grooms on top) could be denied.

Would you deny the right of a gay-owned business to refuse to make anti-gay t-shirts?

if it's about hate, they must refuse.
when its not.. than they can't.

Since I don't support hate crimes.
    Obviously.

Hmh. Two problems with your post:

    1. You assume an anti-gay message is automatically a hateful one.
    2. Despite the efforts of people such as yourself, the First Amendment is still in effect and protects expressions of any opinions on my topics, including tshirts.

I specifically did not make that assumption.

The idea that something that was written down centuries ago, is still up to date....
That is how some end up stoning people.

Sure you did. You said they MUST NOT make such a shirt. Then you justified your admonishment by stating it was "hateful."

I have no idea what that is supposed to mean or how it is related to the topic.

I assure you "left judges" did not introduce public accommodation laws. They were done with religious affiliation and race, both were conservative courts.

Look up public accommodation laws, and then look up protected class.

It is you who are making the erroneous assumption or do you think the freedom to refuse to perform a service that clashes with one's deeply felt conscience is somehow out of date?

And would you require a gay business owner to print up "God Hates ****" t-shirts? I just want to see how consistent your views are.

You will notice religion and religious practice is a protected class by not only the First Amendment to the Constitution as a constitutional right but also Codified in the Civil Rights Act. Alas LGBT is simply not there. That puts them in the same category as folks with red hair or thick mustaches and bushy eyebrows.

The first amendment in no way shape or form forces others to act as involuntary servants to them. That's outright bs

Proving my point that the "conservatives" that want everyone to able to do business with whom they choose is a blatant lie. The just want to be able to deny service to the evil gays while demanding those same gay people cannot refuse them services. Hypocrisy has no end with y'all.

Again...would you force a gay t-shop owner to print up God Hates **** t-shirts for a Fred Phelps sort of church?
Or do you maintain that my $6.98 fee (or whatever the charge may be) means you have to do whatever I say because you cannot deny me service?

Are you feeling alright, or just a problem with the English language?
I said they must refuse if it's a message of hate,
but they can not refuse when it's not.

You mentioned rights in the constitution. I basically said how on earth can a constitution be right for centuries to come? Look at them gimps who stone people to death, because they are sticking to their backward text. Do you want to end up as wrong as them lot?
