It doesnt have to be peer reviewed if you know whats going on and understand the material. Peer review is for people that have no idea what the facts are.
There were plenty of peer reviewed papers on 911 and the gov was forced to make several changes to their peer reviewed propaganda. Unfortunately peer review takes a back seat to politics.

Yes it does have to be peer reviewed research because if peer review is done well then it will pick up the research errors that may give false information

Good peer review has NOTHING to do with politics. Peer review is or should international so one reviewer might be Indian, one might be Taiwanese one might be Australian.

didnt seem to make a difference in the 911 peer reviewed papers!
BTW a kleptocracy is government by 'thugs', not the definition you have, and thats every administration if you are talking about the US.

Depends on the quality of the peer review and that depends on the quality of the journal

ad if you think your government is corrupt then you are looking at the whole thing upside down. The government is and should be your servant not your master

If the government was our servant you would not see suits being filed in the international court of 'last resort', the Hague! Please see citation at: COVID19 Fraud - Fauci, Daszak, Gates, stand charged for Nuremberg Violations.

Holocaust survivor Vera Sharav issued [In the above complaint] a statement in Points 34b and 34c:
The stark lesson of the Holocaust is that whenever doctors join forces with government and deviate from their personal, professional, clinical commitment to do no harm to the individual, medicine can then be perverted from a healing, humanitarian profession to a murderous apparatus…What sets the Holocaust apart from all other mass genocides is the pivotal role played by the medical establishment, the entire medical establishment. Every step of the murderous process was endorsed by the academic, professional medical establishment.

    What peer review?
The process was secret, much of the data is 'still' secret! We the recipients are forced to fight phizer, gates, fauci, the NIH and FDA to obtain the data to review what they are mandating us to put in our bodies or have our lives destroyed.

Another salvo in wet market vs lab leak battle.
    Journalists, or PR Agents?

    Nicholas Wade, City Journal

". . . Two hypotheses have long been on the table. One is that the virus jumped naturally from some animal host, as many epidemics have done in the past. The other is that it escaped from a lab in Wuhan, where researchers are known to have been genetically manipulating bat viruses in order to predict future epidemics. Both hypotheses are plausible but, so far, no direct evidence exists for either.

The rule for covering such a story is obvious: write about both possibilities as evenhandedly as possible until the truth emerges. But science writers have consistently trumpeted any developments favoring natural emergence while downplaying or ignoring those pointing to a lab leak. . . . "

There was that systematic review for that drug that shall remain unnamed that a few of you found an anomaly in ONE paper to discredit.

    Too funny.

    From the link in #1135:
". . . But Sweden seems to have been right. Countries that took the severe route to stem the virus might want to look at the evidence found in a little-known 2021 report by the Kaiser Family Foundation. The researchers found that among 11 wealthy peer nations, Sweden was the only one with no excess mortality among individuals under 75. None, zero, zip.

That’s not to say that Sweden had no deaths from COVID. It did. But it appears to have avoided the collateral damage that lockdowns wreaked in other countries. The Kaiser study wisely looked at excess mortality, rather than the more commonly used metric of COVID deaths. This means that researchers examined mortality rates from all causes of death in the 11 countries before the pandemic and compared those rates to mortality from all causes during the pandemic. If a country averaged 1 million deaths per year before the pandemic but had 1.3 million deaths in 2020, excess mortality would be 30 percent. . . . "

Repeating yourself is not an improvement.

"This pattern of secrecy, cover-ups and data-manipulations was present on national, regional and municipal levels—with even official websites (e.g., Government strategy) being updated without changing the “date of last update” (Sörensen, 2020). For example, although several of the people involved publicly made statements that face masks were not needed, or even “dangerous” or contra-productive (2020r, Bjorklund and Ewing, 2020)—they later claimed they had always been supportive of their use (Tegnell, 2021, 2021j). The Swedish Work Environment Authority and the State Epidemiologist even started erasing related emails requested by journalists.(Sörensen, 2020; Sandberg, 2020). Although this is illegal, the practice of withholding information and erasing emails became widespread among official agencies during the pandemic—leading to a so-called “shadow management”, since apparently the risk for legal sanctions is very low for power holders

Yet the projected “natural herd-immunity” levels are still nowhere in sight 1.5 years after the start of the pandemic. Herd-immunity does not seem within reach without widespread vaccinations, and with newer variants it may be unlikely. While maintaining healthcare demand at acceptable levels was a stated goal, healthcare resources were under major pressure, with numerous reports on staff shortages, individuals being denied healthcare (in elderly care and outside), and overwhelmed hospitals during 2020 leading to postponed (urgent) healthcare for non-COVID related diseases (2021d, Bark, 2020). Even accurate numbers on COVID-19 infections and deaths were no priority, as clear from the restricted access to (often suboptimal) testing and healthcare, lack of contact-tracing to identify suspected cases, delays in reporting and non-sensitive case-definitions (leading to underestimations).

The Swedish strategy has not shown to be superior in any measurable aspect compared to the Nordic neighbours or internationally (Balmford et al., 2020, 2020k; Braithwaite et al., 2021; Bjorklund and Ewing, 2020).

In addition, there was an unwillingness and incapacity to admit any failures at all governmental levels; or to take any responsibility for the clearly detrimental outcomes for Swedish society. There were even attempts to revise history by changing, or deleting official documents, communication, and websites, and gaslighting the public. The Swedish authorities involved were not self-critical and did not engage in any official and open dialogue and misled the public by withholding correct information and even spreading misleading information."

Thanks to procedural and methodological problems, Sweden is useless to science.

But propagandists like it, is this going to be one of your many anti-science escapades?

Either way whether it's from the wet market or from the lab only an idiot would think that those two things don't spread diseases.

I talked to somebody who had spent some time in this wet market in this particular province of China and he said he threw up several times.

In countries like the US UK and several other places we have what's called health and safety health and safety codes exist to prevent this sort of thing.

I think it's 6 or 1/2 dozen either way in fact I would say it's probably better if it was a lab leak. Of course assuming the lab League was accidental I'm not so sure.

So if virus was caused by the deplorable behavior in the Wuhan wet markets it's because these people are so backward that they reject the concept of health and safety. In the wet market they are doing things that we have proven to be the source of disease for over a century. And in the west we've known this for about three centuries. One could say that preventing these pathogens from spreading our the reasons for kosher food handling.

So either Wuhan China is a disgusting deplorable place filled with disgusting superstitious stubborn people that reject science, are they having some clumsy or malevolent lab employees.

    Take your pick

When you cite those who failed, that does not impress.

Do you know what scientists do with corrupt data?

    Of course you do.

So why do you love beating dead horses so much?

    The authors:
    SHANNON BROWNLEE AND JEANNE LENZER

Shannon Brownlee is a lecturer at George Washington University School of Public Health. Jeanne Lenzer is the author of The Danger Within Us; America's Untested, Unregulated Medical Device Industry and One Man's Battle to Survive It.

    The conclusion:

Last month, the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions voted overwhelmingly to establish an independent panel to investigate the nation’s response to the pandemic, modeled on the much-heralded 9/11 Commission. Such a COVID commission should study Sweden, even if the American medical and public health establishment continues to scoff at this Scandinavian success. Whether it was Sweden’s light touch or America’s lockdowns, no public health response could have prevented COVID deaths entirely. But the data shows that Sweden did better and suggests we’d be better off with their light touch when the next coronavirus crisis comes ashore.

    The data was corrupt.

You can do your propaganda game, but that means game over in the real world.
