I think it's wishful thinking on the part of progressives and gays to think anybody opposed to the homosexual lifestyle is harboring "latent urges", or whatever stupid phrase they throw out. They hate that only 1 out of every 50 people they see could possibly see them as attractive, when they see attractive people all around them. This causes them to wish that there were more gay people in society than there actually are. - - - Updated - - - The snowman came across as pretty gay.

They're angry that a snowman isn't attracted to them? You can't have it both ways. You can't claim that homosexuality is a choice, then claim that effete people (or snowmen) can't be straight. I know a few straight men who seem effeminate, but are married and have kids and seem to be straight... in a limp-wristed way. We all know effeminite straight men and I see nothing wrong with showing men who are very masculine and men who aren't so masculine in kids' movies.
When did I claim it was a choice? I have a more nuanced view on this issue than most conservatives. I think some people are born firmly in their respective camps. They're either attracted to the same sex or they are not. No choice involved at all. I think others fall somewhere in between the two camps and are influenced by their life experiences and do, at some point, make a choice. Others remain on the fence.
