Verify what? The fake news he usually talks about is when they lie about him.

 

I bookmarked it. It does seem to have an agenda, but a review of some of the articles do indicate a broader breadth of ideology, a more global view, and far more depth than we are used to seeing here (especially in right wing media, where depth is non existant).

He attacks women as a class routinely. His juvenile behavior is a major embarrasment and has deminished the power and prestige of the office he holds. Other world leaders see him as a grown adolescent, untrustworthy, surely, and incompetent.

As I read this, my mind automatically read wanker as "wane-kuh" like an English person.

 

We should all learn one thing in our discussions and debates. We should learn that when we resort to name calling in our debates we have already lost the debate. Instead of calling anyone names we should just post clear concise support for our views and never just call our opposition derogatory names. Calling people names is just lazy or you just can't support your beliefs with facts or clear opinion.

 

The real 2017 lie of the year was on Flynn's supposed testimony. It wasn't even properly vetted! America's media in 2017 is a sad shell of its former self. And the idea that just because other media outlets have gotten things incorrect means that we should give CNN,etc the blank check card.....No.

Or how about the one that preempted Comey's comments(his testimony after being fired) and that ended up being totally wrong as well. There've been many comical errors in this ongoing tragedy. So forgive me if I don't trust the MSM. I only trust reading and verifying. And sometimes that's hard to do when the source is purposefully deceitful or emotional in its reporting(that's right, emotional. We can hardly say they're neutrally being objective.)

Displays of contempt or ridicule allow us to realise the degree of stupidity our suppositions have.

If someone says "the moon landings were faked" and I treat that comment with respect and analysis, I encourage others to take it seriously too.
Better I call them a prat and ridicule.

When a child at the back of the maths class says "2+2=3" and is willing to argue that point indefinitely in a battle of wills for domination of my classroom...
I don't encourage the other students to treat his opinion or agenda with any respect at all.
I dismiss him out of hand and cut him down to size where necessary. Express my contempt both for his opinion and for himself.

Stupid is to be openly recognised as such and unreasonable people should never under any circumstances be treated in the same manner as reasonable people.

 

Are you? They told us that Flynn would testify that Trump ordered him to contact the Russians!(Leaving out the context that it was during the transition) and they got the date of the email wrong lol. They literally created their OWN fake news. It was the worst report of the year(as we stand a few weeks left in the year) 2017 has been the worst year of politics imaginable, literally nothing got done as the crybabies effectively stalled the government(when they didn't pass legislation to try and restrict it.)

New agencies aren't supposed to give us their opinion, they're supposed to give us the news. They cherry pick articles and feed that steaming pile of garbage to us and people like you slurp it up without even blowing on it or smelling it first.

Oh get real here, reminder he’s been in contact with Russians for YEARs working for Obama. Stop your sensationalism to sway the ignorant. He was in contact with 20 countries after Trump was elected as he was supposed to be in his role. Your big win was a lie about talking to the russian ambassador that was 1000% fine and he is paying the ultimate price after years and years of honorable service and working in the government under your hero.

 

Good point. They act like 20% is low. One false story would nearly ruin a news organization prior to 2000. Now 1 in 5 is no big deal.
