'David Cameron'? Who he? Still, comparing him with the current incumbent, maybe he wasn't so pathetic after all? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-46738125
I always thought he was manufactured for the PM position, him and Blair both - they both had that well groomed toothy smile that played well on telly. I thought that Cameron was just a product; coached, moulded and manuevered for the top spot without any real ideological conviction other than being just another package of westminster cliches filling out his CV in order to get to the top. I'm sure he's a nice guy though and like the article mentions I too wouldn't bet against him coming back....
They never used to but don't you think the basis of politics has changed? I mean to me politics and news are the same thing, they're now just theater - a commodity to be bought and sold based on its impact rather than its import; playing to a gallery is now easier than its every been through social media and far more lucrative! Look at Trump! His methodology has nothing to do with politics its about imagery management through news cycles and social media - very little to do with what used to be establishment "politics"?
Trump's name seems to get into every thread, even when the subject has nothing to do with him. Very telling.
