Defy them! Ride right through their barracades! What are they going to do, arrest 1 million real Americans for standing up for their country in the face of the enemy? No, they will not.

Preposterous, ride on anyway. You guys tried to go through the legal channels and they denied you on the ground of Liberal Muslims? Proof that the U.S. Government is reflecting Obama's words well.

"If the political winds shift in an ugly direction, I'll be in support of the Muslims."

Uh, no, Mr. President you're supposed to be in support of the U.S. Citizens!

Why don't you run off and find me a story about bikers EVER being a problem in DC. Rolling Thunder is in its 27th year... never ever heard of a problem.

How many motorcycle events have you attended in DC? I have been to dozens. Never seen anything approaching a problem. We meet, we ride, we honor the dead and missing... that's what we do.

I'm inclined to agree that the cops on the ground aren't stupid. They don't need a permit to plot out a suitable path, cordon it off, funnel the bikers onto the path and wave cheerfully as they ride by. And I think that most bikers would be content to stay with the procession. I've never been tempted to wander off during any of the many Trail of Tears rides I've been in. Coming up again end of next week.

Maybe its a safety issue, every time bikers come through DC in their protests there is at least one fatal bike accident because they were reckless.

Marchers only walk around the District, very safe protests.

First quoting out of context is not American and by the way there are plenty of Muslims who are Americans. Muslims have been here since before there was a country.

Why do you hate the country so much?

Laughable, I'm the one calling for our rise to power and I hate the country? And it's not quoted out of context whatsoever, it's what our supposed commander in chief said. And based on his geopolitical actions, he's standing true to his word.

Yes it is completely out of context. You probably have no idea where the reference comes from.

That is a bizarre leap of "logic." How is denying a permit that would tie up traffic for two hours on a normal business day "surrendering the city to the Muslims?"

Yeah. You want to turn America into something it was never intended to be. Somebody tried that crap on another country back in 1933 and the outcome was a lesson that all rational people cite in arguing against your positions.

Standing up for freedom to worship or not is standing up for America. There's this document you should read sometime, at least in part, called the Constitution." The operant passage here is the First Amendment.

I think and hope they will. Muslim's get everything, bikers, not so much. Wonder if they will have foot bath's along the way.

I wonder what percentage of these Muslims will be American citizens. My guess is, nearly all of them.

It was an attempt to deter the ride, which emboldened it. Now it will tie traffic up for 10 hours. That is why they do that. As I said, I expect the police to do it anyway.

DC belongs to the road hogs the 11th. Shame... could have pushed them through in a few hours. The whole town is getting it.

Libertarians should be there putting in work if they were smart.
