And here the libs are justifying illegal spying for political purposes on american citizens on lies, false pretenses and outright deceit of FISA court.
I have answered your questions in numerous posts to others. If the Hotel does not close down during rallies by other ethnic groups wants to stay there, but does so the Proud Boys requests rooms, then that is discriminatory. You are viewing this issue in a narrow light. You are viewing Hotel's actions in light of past policies.
The Patriot Act had crazy levels of bipartisan support and gave the government permission to spy on any person for any reason. Blame Congress.
Again you are misunderstanding the issue. I guess you are claiming that BLM members never stay at the Hotel, or did not stay there during their rallies. If the Hotel did not shutdown during those rallies, then it is discriminatory to shutdown because the Proud Boys wanted to stay there.
Really? Republicans illegally spied on Obama, republicans had a special counsel spend 3 years on fishing expedition looking for a crime, not investigating one, republicans impeached Obama for promising to be more flexible with Putin, republicans ripped up Obama's state of the union address...? Republicans slandered and smeared Obama supporters, rioted, looted, attacked Obama supporters on the streets for wearing Obama hat, threw them out of bars and restaurants, disrupted Obama's political rallies, got people fired for supporting Obama, boycotted Obama's family members, businesses that contributed to Obama's campaign? Get real dude. The left declared and waged an unprecedented thuggish dirty war not just on Trump but on half the country that supported Trump and we'll make sure that you lose the war you started and pay reparations.
I guess that means Chick-fil-A discriminates against atheists. They are closed on Sundays. Let's force them to be open so I can have my chicken sandwiches on Sundays.
There was definitely an anti Trump movement. I won't deny that. And because we didn't believe he was really a republican, it wasn't anti republican sentiment. We weren't hell bent on terrifying and destroying the right. Sadly, the Republican party politicians in power decided that they would allow their party - a once noble party - to become the party of Trump. They did so out of fear of retribution from him - not because they believed in him or trusted him. And still, I don't see anyone on the left taking actions to terrify or destroy the Republican Party.
Do you understand the difference between a policy to shutdown because the Proud Boys wanted rooms, but not shutting down because of any other group. A question that no one has answered, is whether you would support the Hotel if it shutdown during a BLM rally. There is a difference in shutting down so employees can celebrate Christmas holiday with their families, and shutting down because a specific group wants to stay at the Hotel. If you think the two are equivalent then there is no help for you.
"half the country" AREN'T "Trump supporters". Trump received the votes of only 32% of Eligible voters. When did 32% become "half"? Is that the New Math? Thus, one of the "talking points" (of your hideously flawed premise) has been completely dismantled. And, totally LMAO at "McCarthyism". "McCarthyism" is much more applicable to Trump (and Trump's demonization of his perceived enemies). Anyway, back to the actual topic of the Hotel and Proud Boys, I think it was a great move by the Hotel not to allow these Extreme RW Radicals a "staging area". Carry on. "half the country"?
Had BLM supporters violated Covid regulations in the bar causing the hotel to get citations, you'd have a better case.
So if a restaurant shuts down when a black family wants a table, then reopens as soon as they left. That would be okay to you? The Hotel shut down during the timeframe that the Proud Boys wanted to stay there. There is no difference between that and shutting down until a black family leaves.
LOL you don't get to decide who is and who is not a republican, that's what the Republican national convention does. Duh Don't twist yourself into a pretzel justifying 5 years of non-stop leftist fascism, smear, lies, slander, intimidation, harassment, violence, riots, based on this "I don't agree with Trump so I can do whatever I want" gibberish.
Obama, Hillary and their thugs abused the Patriot Act and illegally spied on american citizens for political purposes, lest we forget their rampant unmasking. If you're aware of anyone else lying to FISA courts in order to spy on Americans do enlighten us.
Yeah? I think that everybody got that the first 20 times that you posted it. Anyway, what does any of that have to do with the Actual OP Topic of the Hotel and The Proud Boys? I am sure if you want to copy/paste things about "fishing expedition" and hatred of Obama, Etc.--You could probably find the proper topic (instead of hijacking this topic). And, WHY do you keep repeating that SAME, thoroughly dismantled, BS talking point about "half the country" supporting Trump? That is Dead WRONG. And, constantly repeating that obvious falsehood is not a good look. ^Just some friendly advice. Once again, back to the Actual OP Topic, this Faux Outrage over the Hotel Closing is misplaced. They have every right to close for those dates (if they see fit). PS, If you choose to respond, please make an attempt to stay on topic. Thx in advance.
Oh puleeze A court that is 100% secret and has no oversight is being lied to constantly. The Patriot Act was only going to be used for terrorism. Last I checked, 98% of the arrests coming out of FISA courts were drug related. You'd have a point if republicans were squeaky clean. They all lie, abuse power, obey their corporate sponsors and, generally, **** over the American people to maintain their power & wealth. The last person who didn't was Ron Paul. We need 538 of him, and zero of what we have currently.
These banalities don't hide the fact that it was Obama, Hillary and their thugs who were caught lying to FISA court and illegally spying on american citizens for purely political purposes. There is no precedent to this in modern american history, this **** happens in third world countries... and in Obama administration.
So Trump was a republican? I know he ran as one, but I think that was only because he knew he couldn't get nominated as a democrat...something he'd been for most of his life.
I really don't have a problem with the hotel doing this. There would be a high risk that counter mostly peaceful protesters (BLM/Antifa) would destroy the hotel by vandalism, looting and arson. I think the hotel can decide it won't risk being in the middle of a violent, destructive anarchists fire fight.
Yeah? So, once again, what does any of that have to do with the OP Topic of The Hotel and Proud Boys?
It's not illegal for the hotel management to be disgusting anti-American scum and act accordingly. And it's perfectly legitimate for us to act accordingly and expose them as disgusting anti-American scum that they are, which is what this thread is really about.
