While true....the number of people becoming "Racist" is increasing due to the actions of Muslims(terrorism) and black violence(BLM)....many people are becoming jaded and discriminatory in daily life from fear and disgust.

That's just it most white folks aren't racist. How did slavery go on for so long? How did Jim Crow segregation go on for so long? Because the majority sat idly by and allowed the minority racist to do their dirt.

Again most white folks aren't racist. Most whites are good people, unfortunately we still have a good number who are racist and are in positions to act on it.

Nothing wrong with being a racist if you want to be, as long as, you are not in a position of power to act out that racism.

Funny how that same excuse was used 60yrs ago.

I understand you have a chip on your shoulder and you have a hard time letting it go. But you need to try, for your own benefit. Empty your cup. The world has changed a great deal, sure there are still racist out there but they come in all colors. Empty your cup and refill it with the reality of today.

2015, and racism in its many forms is alive and kicking. To deny it and divert the blame onto blacks which we see every day on this forum, is both stupid and nasty.

Funny how this is the first I ever heard about that.

I don't even remember Islamic terrorism or Black live matter existing large scale and can't seem to find it reported on 60 years ago...I guess I need to research archives a bit more.

Nope...maybe you can help me out here, unless you are simply spewing out crap because you don't like what I'm saying.

Racists come in all colors. Racism will never go away in totality because its based on ignorance which is quite popular. You claiming people are diverting anything points to this.

I see; so the daily, 'oh but the blacks did (insert your choice of villainy)' comments whenever a controversial subject comes up, don't exist and there are no idiots projecting their own abhorrent racism onto those at the genuine receiving end?

There is the belief that most white people are racists, and it's not limited to just a 'couple of morons'.

Ask almost any liberal what would happen if the Civil Rights Act were repealed. They will, invariably, tell you that our society would immediately return to rampant segregation and the return of a "Jim Crow" like era where black folks are forced to drink from separate fountains and sit in the back of the bus. A notion that, today, is patently absurd, but nevertheless is firmly espoused by the left.

Of course, maintaining and nurturing that very mindset of fear, uncertainty and doubt, forms the basis of the democrat strategy of division, subjugation, and dependence that has been firmly in place since LBJ. They MUST maintain the illusion that their opposition are racists, and they have done a very effective job of that for the last 50 years.

Caucasians should be proud of the skin they were born in just like African-Americans should be proud of the skin they were born in.

I applaud you for not being racist. The fact that you are not racist, however, does not mean that racism isn't alive and well in the hearts and minds of far too many people in this country, and that that racism isn't expressed in a myriad of ways by law enforcement, courts, businesses and everyday people in this country.

And denial of the very existence of racism is a form of racism in itself.

Please provide a quote where I accused you of actually saying that.

No, denial of racism looks like this:

Why post responses to a different poster in response to me?

I said nothing on the topic you were talking about and your response to my post is still irrelevant.

    THIS was directed at you.

I applaud you for not being racist. The fact that you are not racist, however, does not mean that racism isn't alive and well in the hearts and minds of far too many people in this country, and that that racism isn't expressed in a myriad of ways by law enforcement, courts, businesses and everyday people in this country.

    THIS was not:

And denial of the very existence of racism is a form of racism in itself.

But if you think the shoe fits, you feel free to lace that b***h up and wear it... [IMG]

This part does apply to me. And thanks, I guess.

I never said racism doesn't exist so no, none of this is the slightest bit relevant to my post.

Neither was the above statement. The only part of your post that was relevant to mine was where you applauded me for not being racist. Which I find some what amusing. People being applauded for doing what should be expected is a bit ironic.

The original article is a batch of unabashed agitprop BS.

To assume that every white person shares some burden of guilt gives license to the notion that every black person shares some burden of cuplability for the failure of modern black culture.

As if the decaying jobs outlook, the ever lasting red lining, the endless white flight from redlined, dangerous "hoods", etc.

See how that works? We can all take past grievances and apply them with broad brushes. Don't call me a racist if you don't want to be called a lazy no good criminal.

    It works both ways.

The issue with this country is that we the people have ALLOWED the polticizing of social issues. We ALLOW it. It's not that the government has any control of these social issues, but WE ALLOW THEM to have control of them, by allowing them to weaponize them against us.

This includes all parties, all races, both genders.

So no, your average white person is no more a racist then your average black person is a welfare queen.

Funny, I'm 50% Sicilian and 50% Swede, regardless of my Swede side, I am olive skinned and many assume I am Mexican given my skin tone and my last name, well I will tell you something as someone who considers himself "white" I have only faced racism from whites ONE TIME..... Some drunk old white lady thought I was Mexican and couldn't speak English (and she wasn't really even being racist just obnoxious) she was saying crap like "get me an el-beero" lol..... Then I was like "ohhh cerveza., se, se"..... She treated me like I didn't speak English, and I pretended like I didn't until the end of the night, then I said to her "you know, just because I have dark skin doesn't mean I can't speak English, besides, I was born here and I'm Sicilian and Swedish" her jaw dropped, then she gave me a dollar tip lol...

My point is I'm not black and I'm not white..... And my dad - well he's straight up brown and he's never had any racial issues....

For sure if "white people" were so damn racist I would have experienced more racism in my 35-years than just some drunk bar maid assuming I don't speak English because I'm olive....

If it matters I have gotten so much racist nonsense from blacks it's disgusting...

Its this kind of talk that causes more division and feeling of inequality.I understand to a certain extent the frustration that black folks are experiencing in this country, only to a certain extent because im not black.it's obvious to me theres a war on blacks in this country that has been around longer than i have.My opinion is there people in this country that feel they need to rid the country of anyone they feel is not pure. Those people dont realize their hearts are in darkness which makes them a disease.
