I predict that in 10 years Obama will be in an interview saying something about how it was amazing how he was ever elected in the first place.
Hey Sherlock. Watch the speech. Obama makes the claim that New Orleans did not get the waiver, and that racism is why. When in fact they had already gotten the waiver. And as you point out, and which I did in earlier posts about the exact votes you cite, the waiver was apparently not important enough for Obama to vote for unless he got an Iraq pullout timetable attached to it !! And yo want to lecture us about character ? About knowledge ? WTF !!
What is this, like the third mean spirited thread by conservatives talking about the moderators' looks? What a classy bunch of folks.
Yesterday on EVERY show on MSNBS the exchange between Romney and 'Candy' was 'creatively edited' to only show Candy says Obama was right. The part were she agreed with Romney was never shown. What does that say about how in the tank MSNBS is for Obama?
Do I really come off as hostile? If so I apologize. I've followed politics from both sides for a number of years. Perhaps I'm a bit impatient when I see many struggling with whats true and what isn't here. If you're not rich and you're a Republican you've been duped. They play on your prejudices to get your votes. I am a Christian and I know you'll never hear true Christians laying judgement openly in public or politics. Republicans use Religion to further their agenda by raising votes as they would never get elected on only the rich. The Bible teaches to care for the needy and feed the poor does he not? The Republican's took a surplus before Obama and put us 14 trillion dollars in debt, funding 2 wars we didn't need, they couldn't pay for, and killing off 100s of thousands of American lives while stuffing the pockets of their defense contractor buddies; and for what? to kill Bin Laden? Obama did that with a small group of Navy Seals with no casualties. It's time we all start giving a little respect where respect is due. The man is our President for God's sake. “Ideological purity, compromise as weakness, a fundamentalist belief in scriptural literalism, denying science, unmoved by facts, undeterred by new information, a hostile fear of progress…They can call themselves the Tea Party. They can call themselves conservatives and they can even call themselves Republicans, though Republicans certainly shouldn’t. But we should call them what they are. The American Taliban.”-Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels) "The Newsroom"
