Decade in the Red: Trump Tax Figures Show Over $1 Billion in Business Losses

It will be getting worse as the affects are just beginning and he is not done yet. Fortunately he has not been allowed to destroy the Amazons of the world yet.

Wellllllllllll . . . Minnesota keeps electing utterly whacko leftist politicians who are anti capitalism -- among other things -- and so of course they have missed the economic boat during this amazing Trumponomics surge in the nationwide economy. That's what socialism minded leftist politicians do to ANY region that they infest.

Yes, but then again; you can't offer what you do not have.

Who is giving you those indicators? Mr 10,000 lies? Trump is broke and has been for a while, that's why he doesn't want his tax returns out. He's been stiffing his backers for golden toilets all this time

Tsunami of nonsense aside, I love the meme. You know if Trump put on his MAGA hat and took a stroll down liberal 5th Ave ... the Secret Service would run out of ammo! :roflol: TRUUUMP!

After this story I’m more impressed with the President 30 plus years ago he was hurting and came back to be president! Wow! A true leader, a come back story like no other! Obama was right to say trump Is the American dream. Clearly, this is a man that can relate to hard times a lot of middle America goes through

Bah.... Not that important with all the other news.. If it's not criminal or quasi-treasonous, it's not worth our time to show that Trump is a simple fraud anymore.... That's already a known factor...

Obstruction of Justice (including ongoing efforts) = Criminal
Directing Conspiracy to Influence the Election = Criminal
Requesting (and Accepting) Assistance from the Russians to win the Election = Quasi-Treasonous

He's gotta go, but this story isn't going to get it done, unless there is evidence he broke tax law, which I don't believe is the claim here.

Trump would have done much better putting his father's money into an ETF. He would be worth 13 billion today instead of the 2.8 billion he's currently at. He's a loser with a big mouth.

The combination of poor business dealings, corrupt mindset and disregarding financial rule and laws has pretty much removed the ability of Trump to ply his "Trade" in traditional banking circles. No one will take the risk he poses without underground gains in the offing. There are very good reasons for him to be protective of his financial records...it seems he is not bright enough to see the longer term consequences however, so his only safety is in playing the dictatorship/oligarchy card.

That's the sort of thing elitist rich upper Northwest side libs do....the types that have no connection to hard working Americans....the sort that vote for the Cuomos and donate a lot of money to the DNC. Working Americans, that have skin in the game appreciate someone that actually works, takes risk, and makes a name for themselves.

Good god do you libs file anything but 1040ez tax returns. Do you really not understand that taking a billion dollar loss over what 1000 companies means he made way more than the billion dollar loss? What that suspect hit piece doesn't tell us is the revenue for those years, you think they left that one little nugget out for a reason??? Let me give you a heads up, anyone flying around in a private 737 is really really rich that baby is 50 million to operate a year minimum. Oh and when used for business it's a write off as well sweetie pie. We've seen one actual return and it showed he personally made 157 million that year and paid a higher % of taxes than Obama and Sanders had. He employees thousands and thousands of employees in his businesses. It's not like he was a social worker that got a cush Senate gig then became President and miraculously was worth 30 million without doing anything nor employing anyone.

The tax code exists for a reason. It's to protect workers just as much as business owners.

ALL indications point to this, but as he has not released his financials we are limited in data. Instead we must go with indications.

trump has never had to work for anything. He inherited his fortune — and made far less than someone in that situation should have — and then he inherited an economy in full recovery — which he is attempting to squander with his trade wars and by pandering to the rich.

So much for being self made

I missed the part about Trump doing anything illegal. I didn’t see anything about that in all the coverage of the tax returns.

A rather circular argument....he should have just invested his inheritance and been really really rich....or he could have developed a business, and well he should have made more? That's your argument? What's your background in the real estate development industry?

“I may not be Donald Trump now, but just you wait; if I don’t make it, my children will.” -Obama.

This article about how low things got for the President, and how he climbed out to become the President of the United States, highlights a strong worth ethic and frankly, the American Dream!

The larger point that you unsurprisingly missed is that his successes are not his own, they were inherited.

According to the article he lost it all in the 80s, but then built it back, moreover he didn’t inherit the oval.
