Can't wait to see them?!! It's only fare, a Trump appointed federal judge held up the request from the House Ways and Means committee for Trump's tax returns for three years?!! And their term is up in two weeks, when the GOP takes over the house?!!

 

This just proves that this was nothing more than a political stunt by Dems and that they were never truly interested in them for "legislative purposes".

 

Yah they were and they found it. Trump wasn’t audited as the president is supposed to be. Shocker.

How long do you think it will be before ALL tax returns become public records? Your ex-wife wants your return? It's a public record and she can have it. Your employer? It will be there for the taking. Your mechanic or grocer wants to charge you based on income? No problem! Your tax returns are public records.

Well, they're public and open for audit unless your name is Biden. Is there a committee looking at whether or not Joe got foreign money through his son? Nope! Can't do that!

Right. As long as what we do is in opposition to Trump abd his supporters it's all legal. The Constitution says that.

Of course it applies to him. This was legal, as confirmed by the judge he appointed and then again by a scotus filled with his judges.

Their rulings relied on the idea that the plantiff's argument was sincere. The Ways and Means committee was clearly not sincere, as we see the reasoning here. They could've found the issues with ANY Presidential Audit. They failed, and I'm not even sure they were asked as to why Trump's audit was the only remedy possible for this issue.

So yes, the Court ruled as such and yes as a result the Court has egg on its face, both of these facts are true.

You don't know that, because crucially the Ways and Means did not ask for President Obama's tax returns, or President Bush's or Clinton's or President Biden.

They asked, specifically for Trump's documentation, as the CNN article outlines. And as Mr. Brady outlined, this is a massive abuse of power. The whole IRS promise is on the idea of the taxes being private. They were public until about 1920. And then we had the reforms that gave us our system today.

That system, is now at risk.

Why do they need the documents for that? They could've very well asked the IRS to testify about the health and the veracity of the program, but they didn't do that, nor was there a hint, a report or even 'sources' that the program was understaffed. No one knew, because no one usually knows the inner workings of the IRS.

Since it's presidential or vice presidential, why didn't they ask for VP Pence? That would've been an easy work around! The corruption is as transparent, as their false promise.

It's easy to turn this around on Joe Biden, maybe even tempting to. But i imagine that the more Americans understand what just happened, the more louder clamoring will be a need to restore the privacy that has just been lost by Democratic overreach.

Specifically, the need to reassure that Congress will not use its overwhelming power to try and replace the IRS. As Trump once famously said: Investigate or legislate. But the whole purpose of the DOJ was to create a separate body. With the DOJ's existence, the legislature should be nothing but a legislature body. It should have little to no investigative powers.

It's a part of the farce of recommending to the DOJ, that which they're already doing.

 

Trump is being exposed for who he truly is.
