I see this morning that the president of mexico has reacted to the recent murders of Americans and their children by drug cartels by doubling down on his "Hugs, not bullets" philosophy.
So- he would be a feeling person. He rejects Trumps offer of military aid to destroy the cartels. I guess he will be sending them gifts to appease their anger...

Because that is apparently what feeling people do. Sounds reasonable to you?

Nobody's perfect, including Trump- he's just a lot more realistic and practical than most, and that is what got him elected.
There's a time to be nice- and a time to not be nice. But it's always time to know the difference, as well as to be capable of both.
Good luck to you; hope your recovery goes well.

House Democrats will begin convening public impeachment hearings next week, they announced on Wednesday, initially calling three marquee witnesses to begin making a case for President Trump’s impeachment in public.

The hearings will kick off on Wednesday, with testimony from William B. Taylor Jr., the top American envoy in Ukraine, and George P. Kent, a top State Department official, said Representative Adam B. Schiff, Democrat of California and the chairman of the Intelligence Committee. On Friday, Mr. Schiff’s committee will hear from Marie L. Yovanovitch, the former American ambassador to Ukraine, he said.

Yovanovitch in particular makes a compelling witness. The way she has been treated by Pompeo (allowing a professional diplomat who was extremely competent to be thrown under the bus to pave the way for extortion) and Trump (removing her after a concerted smear campaign directed by Slimy Rudy so she could not get in the way of the extortion scheme) WOULD BY ITSELF BE AN ENORMOUS SCANDAL if not for all the other scandals Capt. Chaos has created.

Actually, it may be the FBI that lied.

IN THE FLYNN CASE, YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING
    [IMG]
General Flynn seeks the dismissal of the case against him on due process grounds. The law imposes a heavy burden of proving egregious government misconduct to support such a dismissal. Former FBI agent James Gagliano comments on the evidence produced so far in the Examiner column “The Michael Flynn smoking gun: FBI headquarters altered interview summary.”

General Flynn emphasizes in the conclusion of the linked reply memorandum that his present motion is limited. He seeks an order compelling the government to produce the additional the exculpatory evidence he has requested — in full and unredacted form — and an order to show cause why the government should not be held in contempt. He will use the withheld evidence to file a separate motion seeking dismissal of the false-statements charge.

The Department of Justice wrote General Flynn’s counsel this week after the submission of Flynn’s reply memorandum. It has also filed a copy of the letter with the court. In the letter the DoJ advised General Flynn that it mixed up the authors of the FBI 302 interview notes it produced to him.

New letter to the Court from DOJ on the Flynn case.

They misidentified the FBI agents' notes. [IMG]

Strzok's notes are really Pientka's notes, and Pientka's notes are really Strzok's notes.

    That's nice.
