The fact that the Democrats are trying to pass a law removing his security detail proves what I've been saying all along: Trump won't be placed in a prison, along with his security detail.

If Trump is convicted and sentenced to prison, he should still be protected. That probably means not sending him to a typical prison but to a different kind of facility where he could also be protected. But for him, the restrictions should be no different than if he were on a real prison.

 

Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., the former chair of the now disbanded Jan. 6 congressional committee, introduced legislation that would automatically nix Secret Service protection for those who have been convicted of a federal or state felony that carries a minimum one-year prison term.

For the record A democrat is looking to strip any incarcerated president/former president of secret service protection.
I have no problem with that as no secret service agent should ever have to stand guard in a prison.

 

I get a kick out of how he has to make a point to announce it. He must think you care…that’s quite an ego.
