First they threw the Dreamers under the bus. When Trump tried to come to an agreement to offer Dreamers citizenship in exchange for a wall, the Democrats basically said "screw that, screw the Dreamers". That is because the Dreamers are a political tool for the Democrats, not real people who want to get their lives onto the right footing. Apparently, allowing hoards of insurgents to storm our country fit the goals of the Democrats more than helping millions attain legal status.

Now the globalist left aids, supports and encourages a new hoard to storm our border. They go so far as to insist that they should have immediate eligibility to vote, and access to healthcare.

I want to ask those of you who "dream" of finally receiving adequate healthcare, what you think that will look like when available resources are being shared with millions upon millions of illegals.

I want to ask those of you who are nearing retirement how you imagine your social security, which presumably you have contributed to your entire life, will maintain it's current level when it is being diluted by universal healthcare.

The Democrats want one thing above all others: to flood and dilute the country with people who have not become naturalized, who do not respect our laws and traditions and have no encouragement to truly "immigrate"; and who display animosity towards Americans and the Constitution. But more than anything, for a new pair of tennis shoes and a new backpack, they are willing to hide behind children and rampage their way into the country.

For this, their ONLY PLATFORM, they will throw Dreamers under the bus. They will throw any possible chance for Universal Healthcare under the bus.

That's $250 million from tax revenues that could go to legal Californians who need it.

And you wonder why they are turning down Mexico when they have a gravy train waiting in the US.

    Just sad.

    And from another article, https://www.sacbee.com/opinion/op-ed/article215508765.html
All those Hondurans should head straight for California, where they will not only get welfare, but medical care as well.

And we should give them all pamphlets on why they should vote for CA to secede from the union once they get there :)

So you are claiming that dreamers will destroy our healthcare system? Dreamers are young and 37% have at least some college and another 44% completed high school. Lets give them in-demand skills and have them fill the skills gap. We need some fresh blood in our aging population.

I live in CA. Frankly at least in my local area our migrants come from China, Taiwan, India and of course the Afghanis are here. We perhaps have 20,000 from Afghanistan. Still they seem to huddle in enclaves and are not noticed all that much.

Shopping around Asians is a royal pain. Why you ask? Try going down aisles when they stop to stare off into the wild blue yonder. I was in the store on Friday and this clown stood still and his store basket was not in front of him, but aside of him. He took up two shopping cart spaces that way. Think that is unusual? Two wide is but they clog up aisles. I have no clue what they are staring off into space over./rant

I have tried to engage the Chinese in discussions. They seem unwilling to chat. Those from India are more willing to chat but try to understand their brand of English. Tough. Muslims normally shy away since to them we are infidels.

We really need to read what out native CA people in the LA area have to say on this topic. My times in the South part do not qualify me on that topic. Mexicans living in Oakland do have gang problems I have been told by my niece who lived there at one point with her Mexican husband.

Jerry Brown's taking it on the lam ... He's left nothing for his successor to tax, and there's a bigger fiscal crisis looming. $1 trillion in unfunded public pensions. CA dems are real lunatics. Typhus in L.A. homeless encampments, feces and diseased syringes in S.F. Importing more 3rd worlders, and subsidizing their needs should be a no brainer. Apparently CA libs think that the Bell curve makes their horrible policies seem just as prudent as sane conservative ones.

Don't you think that's the "reconquista" plan?

How stupid Californians are, they don't realize they are being "taken over".

Question: Who has questioned Healthcare itself and wants to cut it drastically to finance the tax reform with it?
    Tip: Not the Democrats ....

You have just confirmed what we all know. These are not poor, persecuted people. They are people who want more, and who believe the way to get more is to take it from someone else.

That's your reading comprehension, not my position.
Trump offered citizenship to dreamers and even more than doubled the numbers the democrats accounted for. All he asked for in exchange was a stinking wall. Democrats showed their true color, which isn't blue, by throwing the deal down because what they really want is not citizenship for dreamers, but insurgency. Can't have insurgency with a wall, can you. So the democrat leadership said screw the dreamers and keep those borders open.

Again, the democrats dangle healthcare for all in front of their constituents, like a carrot on a stick before a donkey. Can't offer healthcare to the whole hemisphere, can you. Dems will say again, screw healthcare for all and keep those borders open.

They have no more intention on ensuring healthcare than they had delivering citizenship to dreamers. It's a come-on for fools. They cannot finance decent healthcare for all when they are spreading the available resources thinner and thinner as they encourage insurgency with promises of a free ride.

FYI, polls show most Americans favor some sort of affordable healthcare. Remember what a fiasco the Obamacare roll-out was? Liberal posers don't have the math skills or administrative skills to pull it off. Republicans will be the ones to deliver.

I spent a decade or so living in So.Cal. As a Californian, I loved the state, loved LA and thought San Francisco was the most beautiful city in the world. Now when you drive the los angeles freeway, it feels like you are driving on a railroad track it is so full of pot holes and patches. It's a crowded, filthy, loud and rude place. San Francisco is worse. We stopped our annual visits there and don't miss it a bit.

Hopefully the children of today's left wingers will comprehend that STANDARDS MATTER.

Because of the laws, we incentivize birth tourism. There are hotels that cater to those who must fly in, to stay until their babies are born. It's a big industry for human traffickers.

I was rently at a fruit stand in California to buy some corn. Half a dozen Vietnamese women ( trying hard not to say gooks here) surrounded the corn talking a mile a minute as they pulled the husk back on each piece of corn and either threw it on the floor or into their cart. When they finally left the only corn remaining was what they had discarded on to the floor. That's not the way we do it in this country or at least it wasn't.

We have a few Vietnamese here but the largest group is 17 miles South of me around Story Road in San Jose. I am not trying to put immigrants down but they have customs of their own that they come with and clash with we natives who recall when our shopping was a lot easier.

I had not heard about that. I have heard of trafficking, but not embracing women about to give birth for citizenship purposes.

Of course it is. They want to be taken over.

I say let em go. They're half the progressivism in the US. We could be rid of that nonsense for the cost of letting CA go.

Besides, they'll be begging to get back in in 10 years anyway.

YES on 6, and NO on all bond measures! They haven't been using gas tax money on the roads anyway.
