Isn't that what happens when you build on property that doesn't belong to you?

Meanwhile, how does this morally equate to Israeli families being slaughtered?

There is no discrimination here... Try to build where you are now without a permit. The same applies to Jews... read on...

AMERICANS FOR A SAFE ISRAEL has consistently opposed the expulsion and destruction by the Israeli government of Jewish homes, synagogues, schools, community centers, and all the components of a community. We protested long and hard against the expulsion from Gush Katif in 2005, from which the former residents are still suffering.

Now we see that many of the communities which we have visited on our recent Chizuk missions to Israel are experiencing the same brutal treatment that the Gush Katif communities suffered. We were in Mitzpe Yericho, Givat Assaf and Migron.

We saw the desperate efforts of the people to prevent the destruction of their homes, and we saw the brave actions taken by those who rushed to the assistance of the newly homeless.

At the same time that we read about IDF medics assisting an ailing Palestinian Arab, displaying humanitarian values above all else, we learn about the incredibly inhumane treatment of Jews by their fellow Jews. How and why is this possible?

Everybody should be allowed to have a house. The article here states that:
Is that equality? Not so much. The Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions say that "It is important to point out that in almost all cases, Palestinians have no choice but to build "illegally" as permits are almost impossible to obtain." And B'Tselem further explains that "Over the past three decades of occupation, Israel has employed in the West Bank a policy of planning, development, and building that severely restricts construction by Palestinians while allocating broad expanses of land to establish and expand Jewish settlements. In this way, Israel has created a situation in which thousands of Palestinians are unable to obtain permits to build on their land, and are compelled to build without a permit because they have no other way to provide shelter for their families."

Next, here is the difference between what you said, demolishing Jewish housing, and Palestinian - specifically speaking about Migron and Givat Asaf:
The Israeli government actually tries to help them keep their homes if built on private Palestinian property as seen by the article.

Moreover, the Palestinian houses built without permits are not usually built on private property. On the other hand, the Israeli government is only destroying illegal Jewish outposts - or parts of them - built on private property without permits, while for Palestinians, it only depends on permit, regardless if they built on private lands or not.
