    its ok, I understand you fear answering the question so you’d rather run from it. It seems that people who have been told they are inherently flawed and need otherworldly help also refuse to ask “why” when someone is curious about their behavior.

    Measuring the results of love or conscience does nothing other than to help verify what is self evident, which is that our higher natures are real. And which is already known. But science cannot discern or verify the essence, origin, or nature of our higher nature. So another mighty swing and a miss by you.

    Too late, our higher natures come from God. It isn't part of the natural world. That's why science can't fathom it. Science is a study of the natural world. It can't fathom or discern God either. Not to mention the standards or values we establish for human conduct into law. We don't ask the science machine if rape is right or wrong, or if murder is right or wrong. Our consciences tell us it is so. So we shake on it and make it law.

    I can understand why you think that.
    However, having or not having a god doesn’t make a person ethical. Ethics exists regardless of religion. We can be good or bad with religion, and good or bad without one. You’re right that science does not make us ethical, science just shows us how things in nature and human psychology works.

    He’s running for re election to another term as Governor of Florida. Period. I do not believe that he’s playing at anything here. He’s expressing what he has always believed and still does. There’s nothing wrong with a political leader who takes religious minded people seriously and treats us as full citizens and our issues to mean something to him.
