    I've been rewatching "Designated Survivor" recently.

    It is eerily similar to what we are facing today...
    • President with no previous political experience
    • Back-biting by/between members of Congress
    • Rush to get a treatment for a virus with a very high contagion rate
    • Barriers to obtaining a treatment or cure for the disease
    • Racial tensions over historic statues.

    Uh are you possibly confusing it with the Last Ship? The last ship had a world wide virus. Designated Survivor had a terrorist attack blowing up the capitol during the state of the union.

    That was the 1st season. Season 2 is about a virus being out of control and the President's rush to stop the spread.

    I was mistaken about season 2 totally being about an out-of-control virus. It was just one episode but still very chilling.
