What a bunch of disingenuous twaddle. Your claim that killing people with poison gas was not done to create fear is nonsense. Of course Saddam had a political goal and wanted to send a warning to the kurds not to mess with him.

Genocide an crimes against humanity were Saddam's tools of terror. It is amazing the lengths some will go to delude themselves.

What is more humorous is that you seem to be ok with Bush Sr. aiding dictators who have committed crimes against humanity and genocide.

    From your Wiki yet again;

""From 1985, however, the Iraqi Ba'athist regime under Saddam Hussein decided to eradicate pockets of Kurdish resistance in the north and strike down the peshmerga rebels by all means possible, including large-scale punishment of civilians and the use of chemical weapons. The Halabja event was also part of Iraqi efforts to counter-attack Kurdish and Iranian forces in the final stages of Operation Zafar 7.""

A military action, not to terrorize but to kill. Golly, even the victims don't agree with you for crying out loud. And what is the most humorous is that you have yet, after pages on this forum, to even state exactly what support Bush Sr gave the dictator (not terrorist but dictator). Feel free to start anytime prior to post #1000 LOL.

Where does it say that the victims do not agree that they were terrorized. It states plain as day that the attack was "punishment". Punishment through poison gas is a form of terror.

Why do you want evidence for the aid Bush Sr. gave Saddam ? If you had evidence would you be against giving Saddam this aid ?

The unsubstantiated one above takes the cake. I suppose you will use Uncle Alex and his gold mine site as proof of something or a quick factual response of 'we need questions answered as we don't have a bloody clue.'

At the trial as I posted from your beloved Wiki a few posts above. Golly, please keep up.

Simple, you gave a false quote and attributed it to Bush and refuse to post a widely accepted definition of terrorism that you use so, I smell BS. Furthermore, if you had an example you would have posted it a while ago so, do you have the proof or not?

While you're at it, please prove your case by showing us all that Saddam was a global terrorist group as that is what Bush was referring to when he made his statement about harboring terrorists and then, show us why you won't petition against the Chinese, Brazilians, French and the entire US for supporting Saddam. Are you so singularly fixated that those who did the most supporting are not worthy of even a comment? And if Bush meanint in the past why are the Germans exempt for gassing in WWI?

Me thinks you are just a ranting left winger who broke with the echo camber and is attempting to justify the Iraq invasion by stating the US was right to take out a terrorist like Saddam. :roflol:

The simple fact that you can't have a rational discussion of the word terror is evidence enough of your disingenuous ignorance.

Your claim that the use of poison gas, committing genocide and crimes against humanity did not induce fear/terror is preposterous.

I did not give a false quote - take Bush out of context. I said that Bush said he was going after the supporters of terrorism.

    http://www.rightwingnews.com/quotes/rwns-favorite-george-w-bush-quotes-2/

Are you suggesting that Bush did not mean that he was going after supporters of terrorists ?

Bush does put the same stipulations on Terrorists as you do. Saddam fits Bush's definition.

The quote above gives what Bush meant and even mentions the Germans. Deal with it

I am a right wing fiscal conservative who is moderate on social issues. You demonizing the messenger and attributing things I did not say does not help your argument. These are troll tactics.

I have never said anything in relation to the legitimacy of taking Saddam out and that is not the topic. You are so desperate to avoid the truth that you will do anything to avoid facing the reality of what the Bush Sr- admin did.

Still refusing to post the widely accepted definition of terrorism you use, how telling. Everything you don't like is terrorism when you make your own definitions up, like your self made Bush quote in post #37. Is your argument so weak that the truth cannot support it?

The truth which is found by first providing a widely accepted definition of terrorism in order to ascertain what is and is not a global terrorist as nothing the FBI or UN has put forth supports his contention and then perhaps something equally authoritative with an example or two to prove it stating that use of chemical weapons is simply terrorism rather than genocide, murder or a crime against humanity.

I see. So, the truth kind of 'depends' on how it's defined then? The truth ought to be simply the truth, with no variables (and not on HOW it's defined). It should sink or swim on its own merits. 'Widely acceptable'? Hmm..to whom, exactly?

Simple, when trying to ascertain if something is terrorism or not to know what the word itself is defining is a key part of that otherwise we are not discussing the same thing rather our individual interpretations. It's why dictionaries were made, so we would have common words which we could use to understand one another with and exchange ideas as foreign as that concept might be to some.

As I said two posts ago and you still seem to have problems understanding, prior to carrying out fruitful discussions with the hope of discovering the truth we have to ensure we are speaking of the same thing.

    Anyhow, glad I could help!

“Inside Job: Seven Questions about 9/11”, raised questions about the events of 9/11 and whether more may have been involved than the official account of nineteen Islamic fundamentalists hijacking four commercial carriers, outfoxing the most sophisticated air defense system in the world, and perpetrating these atrocities under the control of a guy in a cave in Afghanistan.
These are the first plane crashes in its history that have not been investigated by the NTSB. An FBI official, when asked why not, replied, “It wasn’t necessary because we saw them on television.” But we did not see what happened at the Pentagon or in Shanksville “on television”—and what we have seen on TV does not look right.

We have no videos of the crash of Flight 93 in Shanksville and only the five frames from the Pentagon of Flight 77. We have familiar footage of Flight 175 hitting the South Tower and less familiar footage of Flight 11 impacting with the North Tower. Since it was not broadcast that day, that footage raises interesting questions about George W. Bush’s public remarks that, when he watched the plane hit the North Tower, he thought to himself, “There’s one terrible pilot!”
His comment, after all, only makes sense assuming it occurred before the second hit, after which anyone should have realized this was no accident but a deliberate occurrence. Bush added that “the TV was obviously on”, but since the public broadcasts did not show it at that time, the thought has crossed my mind that he may have actually seen it “live” on a closed Secret Service channel, which would be stunning evidence that 9/11 was indeed an inside job

Flight 11 hitting the North Tower
    (a) Remarkably Jules Naudet, a French filmmaker, just happened to be in the vicinity doing a modest documentary about New York Firemen out looking for a “gas leak”. As Leslie Raphael has explained, that a cameraman should have been in precisely the right position to film this event depended upon a rather large number of conditions—either as a matter of coincidence, as the government would have us believe, or by design. If this occurred by chance, it’s improbability is astonishingly small. An odd flash occurs just as the flying object makes contact with the building

Sounds just like another Zupruder film a couple of lucky guys

20 reasons the official story is wrong

    1. The impact of planes cannot have caused enough damage to bring the buildings down, since the buildings were designed to withstand them (as Frank DeMartini, the project manager, has observed), the planes alleged to have hit were similar to those they were designed to withstand, and the buildings continued to stand after those impacts with negligible effects.

    2. Most of the jet fuel, principally kerosene, burned up in those fireballs in the first fifteen seconds or so. Below the 96th floor in the North Tower and the 80th in the South, those buildings were stone cold steel (unaffected by any fires at all other than some very modest office fires that burned around 500 degrees F), which functioned as a massive heat sink dissipating the heat from building up on the steel.

    3. The melting point of steel at 2,800 degrees F is about 1,000 degrees higher than the maximum burning temperature of jet-fuel-based fires, which do not exceed 1,800 degrees F under optimal conditions; but the NIST examined 236 samples of steel and found that 233 had not been exposed to temperatures above 500 degrees F and the others not above
1200.

    4. Underwriters Laboratory certified the steel in the buildings up to 2,000 degrees F for three or four hours without any significant effects, where these fires burned neither long enough or hot enough at an average temperature of about 500 degrees for about one hour in the South Tower and one and a half in the North Tower to weaken, much less melt.

    5. If the steel had melted or weakened, then the affected floors would have displayed completely different behavior, with some degree of asymmetrical sagging and tilting, which would have been gradual and slow, not the complete, abrupt and total demolition that was observed. Which means the NIST cannot even explain the initiation of any
”collapse” sequence

    6. The top 30 floors of the South Tower pivoted and fell to the side, turning to dust before it reached the horizontal. So it did not even exist to exert any downward pressure on the lower 80 floors. A high-school physics teacher, Charles Boldwyn, moreover, has calculated that, if you take the top 16 floors of the North Tower as one unit of downward force, there were 199 units of upward force to counteract it.

    7. William Rodriguez, who was the senior custodian in the North Tower and the last man to leave the building, has reported massive explosions in the sub-basements that effected extensive destruction, including the demolition of a fifty-ton hydraulic press and the
ripping of the skin off a fellow worker, where they filled with water that drained the sprinkler system.

    8. Rodriguez observed that the explosion occurred prior to reverberations from upper floors, a claim that has now been substantiated in a new study by Craig Furlong and Gordon Ross, ”Seismic Proof: 9/11 Was an Inside Job,” demonstrating that these
explosions actually took place as much as 14 and 17 seconds before the presumptive airplane impacts

    9. Heavy-steel-construction buildings like the Twin Towers are not generally capable of “pancake collapse,” which normally occurs only with concrete structures of “lift slab construction” and could not occur in redundant welded-steel buildings, such as the towers, unless every supporting column were removed at the same time, floor by floor, as Charles Pegelow, a structural engineer, has observed.
    10. The demolition of the two towers in about 10 seconds apiece is very close to the speed of free fall with only air resistance, which Judy Wood, Ph.D., formerly a professor of mechanical engineering, has observed is an astounding result that would be impossible with extremely powerful sources of energy. If they were collapsing, they would have had to fall through their points of greatest resistance.
    11. Indeed, the towers are exploding from the top, not collapsing to the ground, where their floors do not move, a phenomenon Wood has likened to two gigantic trees turning to sawdust from the top down, which, like the pulverization of the buildings, the government’s account cannot possibly explain. There were no “pancakes”
    12. WTC-7 came down in a classic controlled demolition at 5:20 PM after Larry Silverstein suggested the best thing to do might be to “pull it”, displaying all the characteristics of classic controlled demolitions: a complete, abrupt and total collapse into its own footprint, where the floors are all falling at the same time, yielding a stack of pancakes about 5 floors high.
    13. Had the Twin Towers collapsed like WTC-7, there would have been two stacks of “pancakes” equal to about 12% the height of the buildings or around 15 floors high. But they were actually reduced to below ground level. Since there were no “pancakes”, there cannot have been any “pancake collapse” of either building, where the buildings were destroyed by different modes of demolition.
    14. The hit point at the Pentagon was too small to accommodate a 100-ton airliner with a 125-foot wingspan and a tail that stands 44-feet above the ground; the debris was wrong for a Boeing 757: no wings, no fuselage, no seats, no bodies, no luggage, no tail! Not even the engines were recovered, which means that the official account is not true
    15. The Pentagon’s own videotapes do not show a Boeing 757 hitting the building, as even Bill O’Reilly admitted when one was shown on ”The O’Reilly Factor”; at 155 feet, the plane was more than twice as long as the 77-foot Pentagon is high and should have been present and easily visible; it was not, which means that the video evidence also contradicts the official account.
    16. The aerodynamics of flight would have made the official trajectory “flying at high speed barely above ground level” physically impossible, because a Boeing 757 flying over 500 mph could not have come closer than about 60 feet of the ground, which means that the official account is not even aerodynamically possible, as Nila Sagadevan, an aeronautical engineer, explained to me.
    17. Data from a flight recorder provided to Pilots for 9/11 Truth by the National Transportation Safety Board corresponds to a plane with a different approach and altitude, which would have precluded its hitting lampposts or even the building itself, which means that, if this data corresponds to a Boeing 757, it would have flown over the Pentagon rather than hit it.

    18. If Flight 93 crashed into an abandoned mine shaft, as the government maintains, then they should have brought out the heavy equipment and the bright lights and dug and dug, 24/7, in the hope that, by some miracle, someone might possibly have survived. But nothing like that was done. Even the singed trees and shrubs were trimmed, apparently to make it impossible to subject them to chemical analysis.
    19. There is more, especially about the alleged hijackers, including that they were not competent to fly these planes and their names are not on any original, authenticated passenger manifest. Several have turned up alive and well and living in the Middle East. The government has not even produced their tickets as evidence that they were even aboard the aircraft they are alleged to have hijacked.
    20. President Bush recently acknowledged that Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11. The Senate Intelligence Committee has reported that Saddam was not in cahoots with Al Qaeda. And the FBI has acknowledged that it has “no hard evidence” to tie Osama to 9/11. If Saddam did not do it and Osama did not do it, then who is responsible for the death of 3,000 citizens that day?

Yup this guy is looking pretty guilty....
    Paul Wolfowitz wrote
In their defining document ”Rebuilding America's Defenses,” written in September of 2000, a full year before the 9/11 attacks, they acknowledged:

”Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event - like a new Pearl Harbor. ...”

One year later, that event would arrive...

[ Wolfowitz was also the President of the World Bank between 2005 and 2007, and during that time he worked on implementing Globalist economic configurations such as ”public-private partnerships.” He is an excellent example of a ”Neocon Globalist,” due to his being heavily involved with both ”Neoconservatism” and ”Neoliberalism ]

Hmm... A new pearl harbor? That was the exact term used by the news corporations that day. I wonder.... to further America we would need another pearl harbor. Hmm what could Paul be talking about. Does he want someone to attack us so we will sign up to fight a war for them?
PNAC(project for a new American century) disbanded after the 911. No reason to have a think tank about needing a new pearl harbor anymore. What a great stoke of luck for these war monger's. They called for it and it happened. They look very guilty. If I was the FBI I would start by investigating the PNAC think tank. Members include Rumsfeld, Richard Perl, Carl Rove, Paul Wolfowitz, and a few more of Bush's cabinet members

Above is the list of players involved in the 911 conspiracy to commit mass murder. As Mr. Bedson requested.

We've Got A Suspect In The

Mr Owens was a member of PNAC. Apparently he knew to much. I find it interesting that the place he was killed was Israel. Implicating the MOSSAD as a co-conspirator to commit mass murder.

How strange, Israel is quite capable of killing it's enemies outside of their own country and so, what exact role did he have, and, what information did he have that you are able to say that he knew too much and, if you actually know something (which I seriously doubt as you have yet to reveal anything resembling proof that it was not as the official story states) why are you not dead?

Certainly they are names but, you forgot the proof to back up your contention that they are 'the' players as you conveniently forgot to mention their roles and how, why, what and when they did what you contend they did and, provide proof of it. In essence, you may as well have supplied us with names from the Milwaukee phone book.
