    Yes, given that globalization is being organized around global governance and centralized authority instead of mutually beneficial and voluntary interaction.

    Here's just one example. Assuming we can agree that marijuana restrictions are wildly unpopular in the US (which I hope we can...) then why is it so hard to reverse those restrictions (and how were they ever implemented in the first place)? The UN. International pharmaceutical corporations use the UN (an unelected bureaucracy with the perceived authority of most of the worlds major powers) to restrict their biggest competitor- naturally occurring and widely/cheaply available marijuana. What the UN wants (what the corporations that manipulate the UN want) is more important than what We The People want in our own nation.

    That's globalism. That's centralized authority. And ultimately, that's collectivism.
