No, the new people are going to have different political ideas, and that is going to tear the nation apart.
Especially when so many of these people are poor. Poverty usually causes political instability. The poor demand redistribution. The others want to protect what they have. Revolution or civil war. We can see this over and over again in Latin America.

Liberals making condescending remarks to a veteran. I would expect nothing less.

All of this sure fits with what is going on today doesn't it?

For the record..... I am of the opinion that LEGAL immigration from Mexico and South America could well be greatly increased in a Donald Trump administration?!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/current-events/449323-donald-trump-campaign-film-cartel-land.html

The Donald Trump campaign and the film "Cartel Land."

Drug cartels seem to have a great deal of power over the elected officials in Mexico.

If...… The Donald's supporters will view this film and become more well informed a lot of good things could result from this.

For one thing..... this could put pressure on Mexico that results in the release of Dr. Jose Mireles!

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cartel_Land

My wife is from Ecuador and I would love to see The Donald come out with a plan to significantly INCREASE LEGAL immigration from Mexico and South America after that wall is built.

This might be a great way to steal much of the thunder that his opponents seem to have at this time?

The military does not understand how to deal with PTSD or they are not willing to spend the monies needed....probably a combination of several factors....ignorance, bureaucratic mylaise, reliance on drugs, basic lack of concern, etc.etc. and so forth.

A nation that is willing to send its young men to war and forget about them does not deserve allegiance....also unlike today....many during the vietnam era were drafted aka forced to go to war.

The problems of returning vets admittedly are complicated and not easily understood.....many factors at play.

The V.A. needs to be revamped to say the least but due to politics not much that can be done there.....one huge problem is that it has become a dumping ground for a minority that cannot find work elsewhere....and they are a big problem...almost impossible to discipline or fire them.....and most of them never served in the military.

At one time most of the employees of the V.A. were veterans.....now at a time when there is a big unemployment problem with veterans....they should be given preferance for employment in the V.A. That would help alleviate a lot of abuse there.

This nation needs to honor vets and treat them with respect and care for their medical needs --I see increasing consciousness of this but so far actions lag far behind rhetoric.
