Do Anti-Global Warming Policies Contribute to the chances of Global Pandemics?

Here is an article which brings up a few salient points about the link between Global Warming policies and the chances of pandemics:

In short, urban densification, mass transit, a cooler climate, car pooling and a whole host of other goals by planning departments to reduce the severity of global warming seem to be boosting the chances of global pandemics.

Since policies to reduce the spread of a pandemic are diametrically opposite of those policies to reduce the man made effects of climate change, would Forum members care to choose which policies should take precedence over the others. Since the policies are opposite, you get to choose pandemics or climate change, but I am not sure that you can logically choose both.
