Youre avoiding the question as you always do..but then again, youre the expert...
or so you attempt to have people believe...

 

There's nothing wrong with criticizing Islam.. however those who constantly rant and rave tend to be very ignorant.. They think Muslims are monolithic or all Arab countries are alike.

 

So tell me, if a muslim refers to a hadith which says , “it is better to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle than touch the hand of a woman who is not permissible to you”...

Most hadiths came out of Persia some 200 years after the death of Muhammed... and can't be authenticated.. At one time there were some 60,000 of them.

I have shaken hands with every Saudi king except Faisal.. so they obviously aren't getting worked up over some obscure hadith.

 

So its just rubbish is it...

 

I agree, I have no problems with people criticising anything, as long as it is based on fact and directed at the correct target, but when people become obsessed they are blinded to the truth, the obsession has them seeing the object of their obsession everywhere, it is one of the factors of obsession. They lose all track of the truth and reality.

 

So Ill ask you the same question is the hadith Im referring to rubbish....

 

Yep... although I haven't been to rural Pakistan.. Maybe they don't shake hands with women there.. Poverty and ignorance take their toll.

 

So if its rubbish, who do I believe...you or the muslims that believe this hadith and all the others....

that the muslims that believe in them are also ignorant.

So what other muslims from other countries are also ignorant.

Nah, its just how the religion is interpreted in different cultures. Some care about this and that and some don't. The hadiths are non-core. Its not unlike claiming that Christian women should wander the desert when they menstruate. Technically, its there in the bible, but most sensible people disregard it.

 

Well, you're wrong. Some Muslims incorporated tribal customs into Islam hundreds of years ago.

I don't know any Australian Muslims.. but I have spent a lot of time in Arabia, Kuwait, Libya, Lebanon.. and visited Iran, Iraq, Syria ..

 

So what are the tribal customs...rape..female genital mutilation..slavery..polygamy..

Indeed yes. Islam merged with tribal customs and some have been unable to disentangle them. But that explains the variety of interpretations.

I will answer: some yes, some no.

 

FGM is not Islamic. Rape will get you the death penalty. Polygamy served a purpose. Slavery has all but disappeared, but it is covered by rules as to the treatment of slaves in the Koran.

So all those muslim refugees who are raping non muslim women in Europe do so risking the death
penalty. There was a muslim gang raping australian girls in Sydney some years ago which led to the
Cronulla riots. I dont think they were worried about any death penalty.

 

It's precisely why they do it - they have no fear of any consequences whatsoever, least of all the death penalty. And that's if they get caught, which they seldom do. So it's win-win for them, doncha see?
